A sad goodbye to the shop today 😔👋

Please don’t write off Blossom & Woodland forever though.
I’m not so sure where to today, but before the craziness of a store, there was a gorgeous little home studio that may just get a dust out.

Thank you for all the beautiful words and encouragement that I can still have a flower dream, just a smaller one.
I will keep in touch 😘

Having a little Farewell Sale,
I will be in store tomorrow (Thursday 11th May) 11am till 4pm selling off all remaining stock half price (Excluding clothes), no flowers will be available.
That means some cracking good deals on some cracking good stuff.

We are very Sad to Say The Blossom & Woodland HQ is closing it’s doors.

Any flower orders already placed are safe and will still be heading out however we are now unable to take any more orders for pick up or delivery.

This has been a heartbreaking decision and we would like to say THANK YOU to every customer that has visited our store and a special one to those who have loved our shop and visited over & over again.

The roller door is now closed but will be open for a day or two next week (days to be confirmed) to offer shelf stock only at discounted prices, No flowers will be available.

Blossom & Woodland is a retail store selling fresh flowers, indoor plants & pots, gorgeous SolFlower boutique clothing and other beautiful things.

We sell in store and deliver wrapped flowers, flower filled jars and vases, gift wrapped plants and pots, in fact all store items (except clothing) are on the delivery run.

We choose not to use floral foam, so no boxed arrangements or centrepieces.

NEW NAME....NEW SPACE....
Only so slightly but we will be changing name!, (and yes, I am now a WE with a lovely Laura on board)

My quiet couple of months have been spent transforming an inwards goods space into a smashing new flower shop in the heart of Wonthaggi.

My first business name was chosen with a home studio in mind. A space called Blossoms on Woodland on a street that is not called Woodland no longer made sense.

We WILL be open just in time for Mother’s Day, but in the meantime, keep a lookout for our shop fitting progress and new stockists rolling in.
Big shout out to Linda for tweaking her already brilliant branding designs😘

These wreaths are hand made, they are not perfectly symmetrical, there are nicks and ends in the vine, wayward foliage and a little bit of wonky here and there, they are real, hand woven, hand decorated… that’s what makes

A Tuesday Delivery?
Yes!
Getting a small business off the ground often means tweaking and changing until we find what fits.
I have built myself a great little network of suppliers and to keep my supply at its freshest my days will be a lovely mix of delivering and collecting all at the same time.
So, I will now be able to deliver most days. Still loving my weeks end flower deliveries but if you have a preferred day in mind, just ask😁

I will be temporarily closed during the current restrictions.
My thoughts are with every business and household having to re structure themselves daily to keep safe during this pandemic.

My flower deliveries put me in multiple places daily far and wide, dealing with multiple people along the supply and delivery chain, I am literally all over the place.

I feel great responsibility to ensure my actions when I’m out and about do not compromise the safety of my family, my customers, my growers and wholesalers.

So... with that I feel the safest option is halting my flower deliveries for now. This little business of mine has been growing by the week and I’m so proud of where we are heading and this is absolutely temporary. I WILL be back the second it is safe to do so.

To all the flower heads that have contacted me over the last couple of days,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!. I was totally unprepared for the enthusiasm for fresh flower deliveries. This has however left me in a situation of having sold out before my big launch and I can’t apologise enough to those who have been waiting to see what’s on offer. I will keep trying each week to increase my availability (of coarse, subject to the supply chain and subject to the weekly changing situations we find ourselves in trying to keep safe and well). Thank you for your understanding and I hope I can help you with your blossoms of the week in. The near future.

Due to the fantastic response to the Blossoms of the week deliveries, just a quick brief on how it works....
Each Thursday, 9am (ish), I will post a photo to the Blossoms on Woodland Facebook and Instagram pages of the arrangement for the week. Keep an eye out and If you love it, message me, email me, phone me.. available Thursday, Friday, Saturday or until sold out, which ever comes first.
Deliveries available through Bass Coast and some parts of South Gippsland and Cardinia.
Cant wait to hear from you😁
