Well, it's actually a pretty cute tradition that's been around for decades that i believe originates from a mexican tradition.
We all know that babies love to make a mess, and what better way to do it than with a giant cake! Plus, it makes for some adorable photo opportunities.
It's a fun way to capture the joy and excitement of reaching the one year mark, and let's be honest, who doesn't love cake?

So my last wedding of the year was followed by a much needed holiday where i spent an amazing 2 weeks traveling with my camping family on Fraser Island.
Whats a camping family you ask? well its just family that loves to go camping!
I also have family that loves hotels and business class and i travel with them too lol
I'm back photographing and editing like i was never away in the first place.
I have limited session times available until January so get in quick to book in your family session before Christmas.
We have been waiting 17 years for this moment and it was such an honour to be able to capture this i-do

I believe its because she has found a love that is just between her and the new person she is growing, 9 months of bonding with a little person she has yet to meet face to face but would fight for with every piece of her being.

Each prize is valid for up one Mum to be for a studio styled maternity photography session in our studio with HEATHER ANNE PHOTOGRAPHY and a 5in x 7in print of your choice.
Winners can schedule their session anytime in March, April or May and the total prize value is $195.

Before every maternity session we will discuss the type of images you want to achieve and your level of comfortability and movement with your baby bump .
Don't think that you have anything to wear? Can I work with jeans that just don't button up any more....
HELL YES I can! as long as you can get them up I can make it look awesome
but I also have a whole wardrobe of maternity gowns and dresses in all different colours and sizes.
Who says that you only have to have a small print on the wall...
Think outside the box and don't be afraid to think big!, let me help create your dream print.

Using only one word, describe your little ones!
Once upon a time there lived three princesses who loved to sing, dance, run and be free!
But don't think for one moment that these princesses are too dainty to throw away their crowns and get dirty like the best of them.
One of my favorite things to do is travel, and the boarders are currently open!
I try to plan a week-long trip at least once a year to somewhere warm where I can soak up the sun and spend time with my hubby, this year its going to be Fraser Island!

Newborns are the sweetest!
Don't think you've missed out just because your baby is older than two weeks.
Even up to four weeks, they are still easy to photograph.
They are so sleepy, snuggly, and easy to pose!
