May is my favourite month of the year and Saturday’s wedding didn’t disappoint. The rain stayed away for S & B’s gorgeous garden ceremony at Highfields Cultural Centre.

20 years ago my cousin Kane was page boy for Aaron and I. This weekend we celebrated his marriage to Zaiga in style in Melbourne at the Royal Botanic Garden.

When the lovely Gianna Kelly outlined the plans that she and her partner (in crime) Craig had for their wedding day - I was all in.

A gorgeous intimate garden ceremony with their besties by their side before heading to their joint birthday party hitched.

I was so lucky to have their trust in creating a script that was perfect for them.

What a stunning day for E & M’s garden ceremony.

Even the wind 💨💨💨💨💨💨 couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces. So glad I swapped my spring dress to pants - that wouldn’t of been fun (for anyone 🤣)

We included a sand ceremony to celebrate their joining families. A gorgeous keepsake.

A true love story......

Helen and Ben were meant to get married in April but had to make some seriously difficult decisions when Covid-19 turned our world upside down. Shifting their wedding to November meant that there was months of anxious waiting and raw emotion of missing loved ones who couldn’t attend due to border closures. It fills my heart with joy to see them so happy. Thanks Lucy Sheedy Photographer for these magical pics.

Well 2020 you certainly haven’t been the year we’d hoped for. Today I got to celebrate H & B’s ceremony at the always gorgeous Gabbinbar Homestead. So that’s a wrap for me....no more weddings booked waiting to see if our Canada move comes to fruition. I’m open to elopements but I won’t be taking bookings for any further than 6 weeks ahead. Moving 20 weddings this year was stressful enough. Thanks for your support over the years....watch this space. 💕 H

It’s such a strange feeling waking up knowing you were suppose to be celebrating a wedding today - I can’t begin to imagine how my couples are feeling with so many needing to postpone their big day. I hope that this time is bringing you all closer together, appreciating this unique opportunity to chill out doing the things you love to do at home.
