This wedding was epic on so many levels. From the groom riding down the aisle, to the personal vows and the chorus of guinea fowls taking part. Frannie and Chris were the epitome of down to earth and very much in love.

While I have my brain on beautiful Scottish men marrying their soul mates. Foy & Co Weddings were the epitome of professional and personable when they captured Nick and James in July.

Not often I get to take candids with the family but when I do, it gets intimate... It was my absolute pleasure and honour to marry and earlier this week. Nearly 20 years of friendship and I finally got to see her marry THE ONE.

They marched in to a piper, they handfasted, they toasted to their future and shared the loving cup, we rang the wedding bells. There were so many kisses! There are also plenty of beautiful professional photos but this one really captures the right feeling for me.

Aleesha takes real photos, the ones that aren't perfect so they are obviously very perfect. She framed my family like the delicious mess that it is. She saw through the typical poses and just let my girls be... My girls. Perfection.

And Bracknell Lodge... Well what can I say? This place is everything, and then a smidge more. Obviously I'm usually out here for wedding but Bek is the epitome of community spirit. She is generosity and professionalism and approachability. She is consummate and every inch of this property reflects that.

So while this post is a mesh of the things I love professionally and the people I love personally, the real message is: This is why I do what I do. To connect with people and places I can love.
