Watching my little one explore and discover the world has been the most incredible journey.

In just two short years, she's shown me the magic of curiosity and the beauty of living in the present. Every day, she surprises me with her growing knowledge and reminds me to slow down and embrace the joy of learning together.💡💛

💧Setting up this simple sensory play adventure, as she transferred water from one container to another. It's amazing how such a small activity can foster her development and ignite her imagination.

🔴🟡⚫️ NAIDOC WEEK ⚫️🟡🔴

A simple activity we did yesterday using:
- Our FREE NAIDOC resources (link below)
- Container
- Paint Brush

During this activity:
🟣We talked about what each symbol means
🔵Used our hands to pretend the sensory base was like the red Australian dirt
🟢Used the paintbrush to practice drawings the symbols
🟡Finished off by gathering most of the materials that were on the cards and matching them up.
For example: We had a bowl of water, so the water card went in there and We made sand hills with our sensory base and placed the sandhill card there.

🍂Exploring Autumn Wonders!🍂

🐾This messy play adventure began with vibrant colored rice—red, yellow, green, and orange, along with wooden pieces and cut-up toilet rolls representing leaves. The little ones joyfully mixed the hues, listening to the soothing sounds of rice in trays and buckets. Their curious minds explored the open-ended wooden trees, discovering how they fit together.

🍁 Next, creativity bloomed as tiny hands painted autumn leaves on bubble wrap, bringing a tree to life. The paint and craft activity encouraged fine motor skills and imaginative expression. The children embraced the joy of art, discovering the beauty of nature's transformation through vibrant colors.

🚜 The final setup immersed our young adventurers in a moonsand farm, where they played as diligent farmers harvesting crops. Some couldn't resist tasting the "harvest," while others pushed the tractor through the "dirt." This sensory experience fostered cognitive development, as they discovered the textures and concepts of planting and harvesting.

🌱 Through these enchanting autumn play setups, our little stars blossomed. Their sensory exploration, imaginative play, and fine motor skills development nurtured their cognitive growth and inspired a love for nature.

Dear Messy Monsterz Community,

I am writing to offer my sincerest apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience caused by this news, but our messy play sessions will no longer be taking place. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to take a step back from our community sessions, but we believe that it is the right decision for our family and for the families we serve.

We understand how much these messy play sessions meant to so many of you, and we are truly sorry for any disruption or upset this news may cause. We want you to know that we have not taken this decision lightly and have carefully considered all the options available to us. Unfortunately, due to family and ongoing health issues, we have had to make this difficult decision.

We want to express our gratitude for your support and participation in the past at our sessions. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch your children engage in messy play, explore their senses, and develop their skills. It is always heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they interact with each other and the materials.

Although our regular sessions will not be continuing. We will still be continuing our private events such as birthday parties, mothers groups and incursions. AND you may even see us at some community events.

We understand that you may have questions or concerns about this decision. We encourage you to reach out to us and share your thoughts, as we value your feedback and want to address any concerns you may have. Text messages and/or emails have been sent out for those of you who have purchased a term pass or multipass or pop-up event tickets.
If you have not gotten a text/email, please get in touch.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience caused by the cancellation of our messy play sessions. We hope to have the opportunity to explore with you and your little ones again in the future, and we look forward to seeing the amazing things they will accomplish.
