Hi friends, we're still here!

We hope you have all had an amazing holiday season!

The Tap Bar Company took a break to focus on friends, family, house projects and our careers but we are back and excited for 2022's weddings and events.

2021 seen some big changes to the buisness in preparation for a huge 2022!

We are excited for a busy year and even more excited for some big changes to be announced so stay tuned!!

We are now back in the office, If you have been in contact recently we will be in touch.

Yesterday The Tap Bar Company teamed up with for Scotty's Memorial Derby Day at the Burdekin Race Club, Home Hill.

Tillly also known as The Brown Brothers Wine Bar for the day, served ice cold wine on tap to the punters.

Introducing Bohemia-

Yesterday our bar Bohemia made his debut along side his big sister Tilly The Brewery Townsville]] Oktoberfest.

Wiith a sell out crowd, it was a big day for all but nothing the amazing team from The Brewery Townsville]] paired up with our bars Tilly & Bohemia couldn't handle.

Bohemia is a 6 tap refrigerated bar built for larger private & commercial events.

With the capacity to hold and pour over 590 icey cold schooners of your favourite beverages, it's fair to say you will be in for a good day/night!

Bohemia is the first of three new bars The Tap Bar Company are releasing over the coming months, just in time for your Christmas parties, so keep an eye on this space 🍻🍸🥂

Our girl Tilly all setup for the most amazing garden wedding.

Tilly is our main star, with a 4 tap bar in the back hatch. She is absolutely stunning and wins the hearts of everyone who pours a drink from her.

At 1800mm wide and 1600mm tall she is compact enough to fit into almost any space.

She may only have 4 taps but she has the capacity to serve 472+ icey cold schooners in a short period of time making her perfect for those larger weddings and corporate events.

She is a statement but won’t be the main event if you don’t want her to be.

Ivory, our beautiful two tap hardwood pallet bar had a busy day yesterday…

Firstly, orange juice + tropical juice on tap at one of the most exquisite baby showers we have ever seen… very excited to see the photos!

Then “Christmas in July” party a self-serve cocktail bar, providing
SPICED GIN APPLE PIE + MARGARITAS all night long..

What is a Spiced Gin cocktail we hear you asking?
Well these are the basic ingredients..

-Pink Gin
-Apple cider
-Cinnamon sugar syrup

And on that note….
I think we might need to make some of these for ourselves today… Have a fabulous Sunday!

Happy Friday 🥂

A little over 12 months ago, Tilly was presented to the world and Tap That Bars was launched.
I would personally like to thank every single follower, business and individual that has shown support in any and all ways.
We never thought it would take off like it did! Supporting Tap That Bars as a small business really has supported a dream, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Over the last few months there has been some confusion as to the operations and future of Tap That, but non the less the bars are still operating, cold beers are flowing and the future is more exciting then ever!
Respectfully, my former business partner has made the decision to leave Tap That, I wish her all the best on her future endeavours.
Over the next few months you will see some exciting changes, a fresh new look and a few more surprises… Watch this space!

Townsville's original locally owned self serve tap bar. Owned by partners Chris & Amanda, they saw a gap in the market for gorgeous clean, boho style tap bars that suit any and every style of event. The idea was born over drinks (obviously) & some good banter. We had seen gorgeous little vintage bars around Australia & other countries and thought why the hell not. Chris & Amanda have a knack for everything renovations, are creative, determined & love a good glass of red (who doesn't).
