Raw Documentary Edit Completed for Gemma & Travis, spanning an impressive 1 hour and 40 minutes!

I am currently working on their cinematic film, which will be perfect for sharing on social media.

What is a Raw Documentary Edit? This type of edit captures REAL moments, focusing on candid interactions and genuine emotions rather than staged shots or heavily edited scenes. As a single shooter, perfection with one shot is challenging, but I strive to ensure you’ll have cherished memories. I put in the effort to tidy up the footage while maintaining its authenticity.

The entire ceremony is filmed from start to finish using longer, uncut clips to preserve the natural flow. I prefer to overlay a song of your choice from the day, as copyright issues won't affect your personal viewing at home.

I aim to include the natural audio of your guests sharing hugs and congratulations. I'll also capture your bridal entrance, the full first dance (where applicable), and the complete speeches.

Given the extended length, I don't include footage from the preparation stage in the documentary edit.

Now editing the beautiful Gemma & Travis!
A quick note for 2025 & 2026 future clients -

If you are looking at having me as your videographer for your 2026 wedding, I have already booked 6 weddings for next year, and it will be capped at 25.

This year, I have closed bookings at 26 weddings. I have been filming over 33 weddings a year for the past 3 years and it's time to slow it down a bit. I also shoot family, personal, and commercial videos on the side, among occasional charity work so I felt it best I don't overdo it.

It's worth mentioning, I also own and operate another business, Pro Tint Townsville with my husband, and it too demands my energy.

2024 was an incredible year, unfortunately illness did strike me down for a good month followed by the Christmas and New year.

So, thank you for your patience, while I work hard to finalize these films before the new season starts!

I have almost finished Amy & Zach's wedding film!

Not only will they be getting their cinematic video (approx. 10-12 minutes) of their day to share on socials, but they also receive a private documentary edit of their full wedding ceremony, first dance and speeches (approx. 1 hour).

Currently Editing Amy & Zach!

Please refer to pinned post if you are awaiting your wedding film. I appreciate your patience! The process is lengthy, as each client receives not only a cinematic wedding film, but also a documentary edit for their day too with full ceremony, speeches and dances!

I've got a beautiful wedding to film tomorrow for Kelly & Patrick, then it's back to editing these two beautiful souls!

From 8th-11th Jan I'll be off taking off time from editing to take my kids camping for a break. :D

Super excited that I'll be starting the edit for Christina & Boyd, in hopefully the next few days. Unfortunately, I've had quite the bad week.

I was hesitant to post anything personal on my business page but wanted to be transparent to my clients.

Just over two weeks ago I had my wisdoms out and took some days off. Unfortunately - unrelated to the surgery, I started to become very unwell, with very severe pain and spent some time in ER. I've undergone most of the tests and scans and happy to be home now. I'll continue working with doctors on a few things over the next couple months and follow the bouncing ball but otherwise feeling pain free and so happy to be feeling better. I'm grateful for my wonderful family this past week x.

I'm running behind in my schedule, it doesn't take much to throw things off track, but I wanted to apologise for the wait times.
