Ede Events is is looking for a casual delivery driver / labourer with an immediate start. Hours are 30-38 hours from now until Christmas. Must be available weekends and nights.
Duties include delivering and setting up hire equipment including lighting, furniture & marquees.

Backpackers welcome to apply! This counts for 88 days 🤙

No experience necessary but minimum drivers licence and white card required to start. Forklift licence desirable.

Ede Events is looking for an Admin & Event Assistant for our busy upcoming events season. This position works closely with our Event Managers to deliver administrative support & excellent customer service to the biggest festivals, weddings & events in North Queensland.

WE VALUE PEOPLE WHO
- Have a great work ethic
- Are outgoing & positive
- Are organised & efficient
- Have an eye for detail

Event industry experience is valued, but not a requirement for this position. (We will teach you everything you need to know).

KEY DUTIES
- Answer phone & email enquiries
- General administrative duties
- Assist onsite setting up events

Casual role 30-38 Hours per week for our busy events season with opportunity to transition to permanent employment at the end of season for the right candidate.
Onsite work on weekends / after hours is required but most of the hours worked will be in business hours Monday to Friday.

A driver’s licence is a requirement for this position.

THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS ALIVE & WELL!
OUR GRINCH IS BACK!

We cannot BELIEVE it! A Christmas miracle if there ever was one!
On Saturday afternoon we received a call from the police - they had a hunch as to the whereabouts of our beloved Grinch. They visited a house in Townsville late yesterday and LOW AND BEHOLD there was our green boy! A little graffitied, a couple of mushroom stickers on his hat and in 3 pieces, but definitely our Grinch! The damage is nothing that we can't fix and his dog Max is delighted to have him home 💚💚💚

Townsville! We are so grateful to you! Every single person and business that shared our post and read our story played a part in this ❤🥹
