What a great way to start off the 2023/24 wedding season!

In an intimate ceremony, Lisa and Ranen were married in Gippsland's historic gold rush town of Walhalla. Lisa was walked down the aisle by her father Colin, to 'This is me' by Keala Settle, a song from 'The Greatest Showman' movie. They had spectacular backdrops of this beautiful town all around them for their ceremony and later Reception at the Walhalla Mechanics Institute.

Wedding Arbor for hire. Hire fee is $250 including the arbor's assembly. I can decorate the arbor as you see it here with faux flowers and drape at no extra charge, or you may have it decorated by your own florist, at your expense.
Transport up to 50km of my home in Traralgon is free, however transport beyond 50km will incur a transport fee.
For my own wedding clients, the hire fee is greatly reduced and no transport fee charged, as I'm already going to where your wedding is being held anyway.

For arbor hire or Celebrant enquiries, contact Graham.

In a private ceremony in Traralgon on 26 April 2023, I helped celebrate the life of 'Digby' Henderson. Digby left behind his humans Tom and Karen.
A Papillion x Jack Russell, Tom says Digby was his constant companion and confidante, he was really spritely when he was younger and still even recently he would have times when he would bound about enjoying life like a much younger dog.

My most recent ceremony is a real love story. Taylor and John are 2 people who each thought they were never going to find that special 'forever' someone... until one day when they did. Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, they now live in Traralgon and married at their home in front of only their closest family and friends. Their ceremony was honest, with some fun and laughs, but very loving.
PS: The Arbour is mine and available for hire at $250 or a reduced rate for my clients.

Please welcome Mr & Mrs Beames. On 25th of March, I had the pleasure of hitching these 2 wonderful people in marriage, Jason and Bernadette. The ceremony was conducted under cover at the Gippsland Immigration Henge, at Kernot Hall in Morwell, (aka Immigration Park). The weather turned on a great day and the view over the lake and with the bird life turning out for the wedding also, made it a wonderful day indeed.

3 weeks ago, I had the privilege of marrying Tina and Russell at their home in Churchill, Victoria. Russell is a really good fella and Tina is such a beautiful funny person. Their big backyard was beautifully presented and ideally sized for their 40+ guests and the ceremony. It is always such a pleasure to get to know & have my "better than front row seat" at the wedding of 2 such wonderful and well matched people and in a place that they so clearly love to live in and share.

It is such an honour to have friends ask me to be their celebrant. That was the case when Nicole & Garry asked me nearly 12 months ago to officiate at their wedding. The ceremony and reception was last weekend in front of 80 of only their closest family and friends. Their perfectly manicured yard at their beautiful home in Gippsland's picturesque Hazelwood North was the perfect location.

What a busy few weeks. On 26th November I travelled to this wonderful couple's farm at the back of Rosedale as their Celebrant to marry them. Steve and Bec have been together for 9 years and recently decided that it was time to get married. The view from their property is amazing, so it was the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony!

Saturday was such a beautiful day, but paled in comparison to this beautiful couple. I have known Tara since she was a teenager and for her to ask me 16 years later to be the celebrant at her wedding was a very special honour. Now living in Melbourne, Tara grew up on a Gormandale farm and Cameron is a Melbourne man. They were married on their scenic bush block, only 3 k's from Tara's family's farm.

On Monday afternoon, I had the honour to be the chosen celebrant to join my nephew to my new niece .m.johnson in marriage. Despite the wet weather, Ben's parents farm in Carrajung Lower was the most perfect setting for these love-birds ceremony and the reception/celebrations.

Such a wonderful couple, and it was so much fun on their wedding day marrying Emily to Glenn. They had their wedding day at Narkoojee Winery in Glengarry North on Saturday. Emily's Dad (Bruce) someone I've known for 35 years, copped a huge stirring and the groom might have got a little ribbing too! A bit of rain sent the ceremony indoors, but luckily, it cleared for their photos!

I still believe that I have the best job in the world.

Here are some photos of Brett and Pauline's wedding at the terrific Traralgon Vineyard last weekend. There were lots of laughs, the sun came out for their photos and 2 wonderful people are now husband and wife.

So... with my first interstate wedding done and dusted plus wifey (Lyn) and caravan in tow, we're doing a bit of regional NSW touring before heading home. Amongst many other wonderful things we've seen and done since last Saturday, today we found, and I got to ring Australia's World Peace bell, just off the main street in Cowra. It is the only one in the world outside of a capital city and replicates the one at the United Nations HQ. It is free to visit and to ring and apparently made from 150,000 coins from all 193 UN member countries!

Peace out everyone.

Last Saturday's wedding for Ibby and Oska at Garrison Point, Georges Hall, NSW. (my 1st interstate ceremony). They are both members of a Social Motorcycle Club called Easyriders & wanted their wedding to reflect their Club and motorcycling passion. Oska, also a Wiradjuri man, wanted his First Nation people heritage highlighted in the cermony.

It was a huge honour to prepare and deliver their ceremony with such vastly different inclusions than all of the other weddings that I've done over the years and for 2 such wonderful people ❤️.

I got to be the lucky celebrant to marry such a beautiful couple on Saturday afternoon in a fun ceremony at
Kat and Steve were just wonderful to work with and their daughter Macie was just the happiest little girl all afternoon.

Michelle from Daizies was amazing, even standing in as Kat's dad during the rehearsal the day before, as he was stuck at work. I'm looking forward to working there again and will recommend this venue when asked!
The photo was taken by on my phone... thankyou Caitlyn, also someone I found very easy to work alongside.

Sorry, there are no photos for this post...

Primarily, I consider my role in celebrancy as a Marriage Celebrant, but willing to branch out.

Today was the fourth time this year, I have been a funeral celebrant, once more than I've been a Marriage celebrant during that same time, no thanks to COVID.

For each funeral I have been specifically asked by a different close friend to conduct their service and have buried a close mate's brother, a good mate, a mate's dad and today, 2 friend's 24 year old daughter.
All very different, all very tough, but to have grieving relatives thanking me for making each of those 'send offs' so personal and a true celebration for their loved one's life, they were all very rewarding in their own way.

RIP Albob, Gary, George & Kayla.
