EASTER BREAK •

Also known as the time I consume more than the recommended chocolate dose. If you've been following for a while, you'll know that chocolate is my ULTIMATE weakness. (Preferably Cadbury if you're wondering 😘)

SO, after a mammoth March with 11 hitchings, and 28 for the year, come Easter; I need a teeny break.

I need to switch off and be present for the babes, and give the man who holds this house together some time with me; actually functioning as a human..

So from the 12th of April (after I have married & Michael & to her beloved Benn) I will be OFF soaking in some well earned family time.

I've also taken almost 3 weeks of funerals.

I'll be back in May ready to do a mid week hitch for two very special girls who have been together FOREVER!!
And then slowly easing back into things.
MC gigs are also taking off, and I couldn't be more excited for the things that are coming up.

Thank you for being patient with my responses of late, thank you to my couples for being so incredible, the families I work with for being so easy and sharing so much and the businesses that engage me to help in all other things; thank you!

This weekend, I've got Laura and Brucey, then & Shane and they're going to be AMAZING!!

2024, the gift that just kept on giving... This little hitching was back at the beginning of Dec - so to drag out the wedding love and all the feels, I'll feature it now..

Meg & Stirling, looking absolutely dreamy on the stunning grounds of Meg's parents house.
It was here that these two sweethearts said I do, in a sea of gorgeous blooms, surrounded by some fabulous humans..

It all started at a PT end of year Xmas party, over some Guava cruisers, they didn't exchange numbers but they did exchange snap chats and this is where it all kicked off.
Now it's all about the quality time they are able to spend together, the pride they have in their home and their possessions and the best lawn in the ST!
It's working together, laughing together and all the yummy desserts Megan can cook.

How adorable are these two!!

Good lord what an absolute vision, so many things about this day were perfection; but can we have a moment for the smiles!!
The moment I saw Laura my breath was taken, she was an absolute vision, and that smile; it simply couldn't be wiped off that gorgeous face.

It all began with a slightly corny message "your dog is almost as cute as you are"
Another tinder success, although I'm I am honest, Joel's lucky he made it through the first date with his clothing choice, thankfully for him; Laura saw past the tie dye overload and could see that his kindness, personality and sense of humor were the real winners here.
Since then they have created a family, a life and continue to kick goals together.

As they said in One Tree Hill "it's you, when all my dreams come true, the person I want standing next to me is you"

Congrats guys, you are such a dream!

Good lord this hitching was just SOOOO MUCH FUN!
Whitney and Darcy are just adorable, it's so easy to see that they just love being in each other's company.

Even though they went to kindergarten together, Darcy had no chance as Whitney already had a "kinder husband". Thankfully for all of us that relationship didn't see past the kinder gates.
It was at their friend Nikki's 16th birthday party where they were able to get things happening.

In those initial stages Whitney was attracted to Darcy's very straight teeth, followed by his cheeky grin, his smile, his laugh and how he loved to have fun.

The first date saw the two of them attempt to watch The In-betweeners movie, didn't last long before they switched that off and just chatted instead.

Life for Whitney and Darcy is so easy, as they share similar values, have similar interests and the same sort of personalities. He may not be as hard core Tay Tay, but she is also absolutely not as invested in the cat videos on tiktok.

What a hitching, and what beautiful smiles these two have..their happiness is infectious..

Tay & Daniel °

What a day! So much love, laughter and fun.
I've known Daniel for over ten years and he's just the sweetest dude, so when I found out he'd met someone as beautiful as Tay I was so happy for him.

Then when they got engaged, I was secretly hoping I would be the lucky one to hitch them; long story short; I was!

The day was magic, the vibe on point and everyone there was so deeply immersed in their love.

They met many many moons ago and Daniel was sure Taylah was the one who spotted him first, but alas nothing more than a brief interaction at the same table.
Years later though, Daniel came across Taylah and he wasn't letting the opportunity pass. Thankfully she was sat at a table with a mutual friend, so here he took his opportunity to say hello to said mutual friend and get a gauge for how they interacted.
The next day, a smooth FB add, Instagram follow and then, he smoothly slid into her DM's and worked his charm.

Now, neither could imagine a life without the other. They've been busy creating a life, a home and pursuing careers to help them create the best life possible. You can see simply by looking at them, they adore one another and together they're able to have so much fun!
Daniel and Tay; I know your future will be grand, and I can't wait to watch it all unfold..

The second this inquiry hit my inbox, I was bursting with excitement..I had not long ago married Harry's sister BJ when Georgia reached out and asked if I would be the celebrant for hers and Harry's hitching at the STUNNING

Their questionnaires rolled in and the excitement grew more and more, then the vows came; I was just about busting to share in and be part of this day.
And I am so happy to report, it was just perfect, much like the two of them.

G & H met when they were youngens at a triple 17th birthday party. Harry was immediately drawn to G because, well you can see for yourself; she's a bloody stunner. So a sneaky little pash at a party and all seemed well and good, until G found out she was older than Harry and the internal "WTAF have I done" kicked in.. but turns out, he wasn't as young as she thought, PHEW!!
After a few months of razzing (in H's words) they decided they liked each other and would go on a date, since that day they've been inseparable.

She won me over with her kind, bubbly personality and he won me over with his cheeky smile and his deep passion for Collingwood; it appears we shall be in love for the rest of our days ;)

Congrats beautiful humans, thanks for allowing me the honour of sharing in your love story and being present for all the fun and laughter..

The Boston's °

Who would have thought that taking your shirt off, flexing your muscles and dancing up a storm on the saloon D Floor would land you a woman like this?? The real answer, neither of these two! But somehow, it did..

It may have taken some serious hard work to dig out of the friend zone, but Dyl was well and truly up for the challenge. How could he not be with this little pocket rocket within reach!

She's calmed him, he's corrupted her, and now together; they are living their best lives.

They've supported one another through the toughest times of their lives and had some of the best highs. Although the wedding day didn't go 100% without hiccup, it was still bloody amazing!

They still got married, they danced, they laughed, they got these bloody amazing photos and they walked away at the end of the night HITCHED!!

And I'm so glad I was there for it! Congrats Kel and Dylan. Big love to you and yours

THORPY SPUD FEST•

Ya gal is back hosting another Fashions event, this time it's the Hessians on the field event at the this long weekend.

Sunday March 9th, come and say hello.
Grab a snack and some spuds, maybe bring the kids and let them run ragged with mine for a few hours. The weather is looking good and I am looking forward to seeing what creations the participants come up with.

A sneaky little Tuesday hitch up at Callignee Eco Bush Retreat for Ally & Tim was the perfect way to spend my arvo.
Just these two dreamboats, their gorgeous little dot Lenni, their parents and me and the beautiful Alana watching on.
They shared gorgeous personalized vows, some bling and a cheeky kiss.
Then they treated their parents to a personal chef rocking up and spoiling them for the evening.

I loved everything about this, especially how carefree little Len was just playing in the dirt as we got them married and Ally's stunning down!

The Wards •

There's something special about that love that you meet a little later in life. The love that you don't expect and the one that just sweeps you off your feet.

There's also something special about marrying people you know personally. I've known this bloody goddess a VERY long time. From back when I bleached my hair and waxed my eyebrows into oblivion. So when I spotted her at an open day, I was secretly praying she would give me the honour and then only days later she sent me the sweetest message saying that she didn't need to come and chat to me, as the person who was marrying her was already chosen (spoiler, it was ME).
Watching the way Haydn is with Stace and vice versa filled my heart. Their love is so passionate, so fierce and a real force..
It's such a deep connection, a magnetic energy that you can really sense.
They both knew the moment they left that cafe on their first date, that they were in real trouble. If they weren't looking for that forever kind of love, bad luck cause it had just smacked them in the face, real hard!

Back in December, before the storm hit; these two exchanged the most magical gazes, some shots of fireball, some beautiful words and then some epic snogging!

Everything about it was fabulous

I've stood beside you on many occasions over the past almost 12 months and each time we learn more about one another..

Here's to continuing to grow, to go out there and get it and to speak truth (sometimes no matter the consequences)
