Dr. Sarifa has received numerous prestigious awards, including the 2019 Exceptional Woman of Excellence by WEF London and the 2020 WOHA Mother Theresa Award, inspiring and empowering women globally through her leadership.

A big thank you to Dr Sarifa & Dr Hassan who I recently met in Melbourne at the International Women’s Economic Forum who came to Shepparton to congratulate me on my appointment of Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Multicultural Affairs.
It was theit first visit to Shepparton. The Women’s Economic Forum brought world leaders from around the globe and we now are planning the 2025 event. I have joined Dr Sarifa President of Women’s Economic Forum Australia and Dr Hassan planning the event and the suggestion of hosting some of the event in Shepparton is on the table. It would be a wonderful opportunity to showcase the region on the global stage.
