Brisbane, you absolute legends! Sweden’s supreme theatrical metal masters, Avatar, brought their insane circus of heaviness to town, and it was a total masterclass in live entertainment! From crushing riffs like Colossus to the epic madness of Hail the Apocalypse, the energy was off the charts.

They were also mates with MOTORHEAD and recorded a shambolic and raucous double A-sided single together which was recorded in 1979 but not released until years later.
