Wedding guest lists - What is the perfect number?

So you got engaged! And you’re excited to dive right into planning your day. I get it..I remember just how that felt when I was planning my own wedding. One of the biggest decisions is, of course who will you invite to celebrate alongside you. And this can soon become a super stressful task…especially when parents step in and want to have a say as well

I see couples that have small intimate groups and others that have 100+ guests. And one is not better than other but the main thing is that is is your choice…this is after all your wedding and it should look and feel how you want it too..being a true reflection of you and your partner as a couple.

So whether you want a huge wedding with all the guests or just the two of you just do what feels right for you.

Looking back now at my own wedding I know I would definitely do things differently….ahhh the beauty of hindsight .

🌧️ 🌧️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🌧️🌧️

Rain, rain, you’ve washed us away 😩. While we would never normally wish away any sort of valuable rain, unfortunately, timing for the forecast severe rain event isn’t great.

With the amount of water that’s already on site and the forecast for even more rain between now and Sunday, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Hampton Festival to Sunday 26 June 2022.

Executing a safe and enjoyable event is our main goal and we believe we will be better able to do this on a week where mother nature is smiling on us.

We are sorry to disappoint but thank you in advance for your support and hope that most of you will retain your tickets and join us for the new date on Sunday 26 June.

If you are unable to join us, we completely understand and will of course issue refunds where requested. 👌

We will email all ticket holders with more information regarding the new date and how to request a refund shortly.

A beautiful way to remember our Anzacs.

Day Dawn Service | 5:30am-6:30am, Centenary Park, Williams St, Crows Nest

Day March | 10am-11am, IGA Crows Nest

Day Main Service | 10:25am-11:30am, Centenary Park, Williams St, Crows Nest

This year you will spot something a little different around our local memorial.

Anzac poppies have been handmade and donated by members of the community as well as past Crows Nest residents as far north as NT and as far south as Tassie.

The call went out for handmade poppies. They could be any material you choose .. so we have some crochet, knitted, felt, fabric and foam!
They have been attached to a net and will be placed over the hedges in the community park on Anzac Day, Monday 25th April.

Each poppy is unique and perfect reflects each person who has served. We also included purple poppy for service animals, white poppy for peace, black poppy for indigenous service men and women along with the traditional red poppy for all service men and women. There’s hope to continue to grow the netting so one day the whole park will be covered in poppies.

Introducing our artists for our Autumn Picnic.... we are so excited to announce a fantastic lineup of Australian talent on our outdoor stage, with an eclectic mix of genres to suit your long weekend vibes.

Kicking off the day with the very talented Josh Lovegrove, followed by Qld Music award winner Sue Ray, and the Darling Down's very own crowd favourite, Stephen Henry Quartet.

For this event we are also teaming up with Boho Cartel, offering a gorgeous VIP picnic set up amongst the olive grove.

Platter of Fact, Toowoomba Catering & Event Co. and Crows Nest's own My Little Blueberry will also be joining us, bringing you all day dining as you chill out under our century old Moreton Bay fig trees.

Greenvalley Barn saved the day!

A gorgeous High Country wedding today. While the plan for the ceremony was for it to be under the big gum, Greenvalley Barn hosted a stunning wet weather ‘Plan B’ inside the barn after the heavens decided to open not long before C + M’s big moment.

Big love to C + M! Congratulations on the most stunning celebration!

We are SUPER excited to announce phase two of our site. Coming in the next couple of months!

The new camp will be situated around our 11 x 5.5 metre resort-style magnesium pool (Ibiza vibes anyone?!) and take in the sweeping mountain views.

These beautiful Emperor bell tents (thanks Stylish Bell Tent Range] ) complete with private deck will be your Insta-worthy home away from home.

We will be taking pre bookings soon and can cater for groups of up to 16 ppl so if you have a special occasion coming up or just want to get back to nature with your friends or loved ones, DM for more info
