FUN FACT FRIDAY!
Did you know…
In Australia, you can get married in any place, at any time of any day. Your marriage will be registered in the state/territory that the marriage takes place.
Whilst marriages in aircrafts and on ships can happen, the AGD Marriage Guidelines suggests that they should be avoided.
The city is great but the coast is magic

August is a quiet time for weddings on the South Coast - but it is definitely time to get booked in with me for next summer
Hello August.... what do you have in store for us?
I have conducted a number of 5 person "Covid" weddings in the past 18 months - they have all been beautiful, romantic and meaningful for the couple. You don't have to have a big wedding to make it special
FUN FACT FRIDAY:
Did you know… A marrying couple must provide two witnesses who appear to be 18+ years of age.
So 2 x people getting married, 2 x witnesses and 1 x celebrant is the minimum amount of people in attendance to make your marriage legal in Australia.
Weddings, anniversary and birthday celebrations are so important whatever your age - make it special with a ceremony written for you
Interesting article to restore your faith in romance....

Very timely advice with predictions of a wetter than usual summer. Please don't disagree when I say we must have a Plan B
Scenario: A couple choose not to organise a Plan B location for their outdoor ceremony, because that is not part of their dream…
They tell you that the weather will be fine for their wedding day (in 6 months time) and everything will go to plan.
The day comes - as done the rain… chaos ensues… the couple spend a good part of their morning trying to organise an indoor location to fit their 63 guests (including wheelchair access)... then they have to let everyone know the change of plans...
Tell us your ‘NO PLAN B’ stories…
Even if you are opposites, I'll be talking to you both to plan your wedding - your day, your way means both of you
Opposites Attract!
The only thing better for me as a celebrant than meeting a new couple for the first time to start to plan their beautiful marriage ceremony is when it all comes together on their wedding day.
A beautiful short ceremony at Garden Bay this morning. Love is not just for the young, Congratulations B and K
This is a great little blog that covers some of the myths about weddings. A civil marriage in Australia can be anything you want it to be - as a celebrant I will make sure you include the essential legal components - otherwise we'll make the ceremony your own style.

Are you having kids at your wedding? There are such beautiful ways to involve children of all ages in your ceremony - just ask me how?
Kids or no kids? If children are invited to a ceremony, how can you make sure they’re included and everyone enjoys the day? If you want a child- free event, how do you diplomatically let everyone know?
