The scent of lime, the heat of chilli, the strange sculptural beauty of pincushions in full bloom! When our friends .syd asked us to create something a little different for their Melbourne Cup celebrations last year — we went full fruit-forward! Because when your venue has strong flavours and a touch of spice, your florals should too! 🌶️🍋‍🟩

The arch from this wedding went viral… but can we have a moment for the reception 👀🍇

Rachel & Lachlan’s reception had a mood that pulls you in— the feeling of stepping into a Renaissance painting — bathed in golden candlelight, moody blooms that elegantly cascaded from the table to the floor, mounds of grapes taken straight from a Dutch still-life, nestled amongst layers of rich buttery satin.

The ceremony arch? Still stealing the show — just now from behind the bridal table. Framing Rachel & Lachlan in blooms from vows to final dance ✨

Ever wonder how we plan our floral installs?

Before the buckets of flowers, the ladders, the mad dash to finish on time — there’s a slower moment where we pause, sketch, and map it all out.

For this design, I knew I wanted to create something that felt soft but sculptural, modern but organic. So before ordering a single stem, I mapped it all out in a digital mock-up — a visual game plan to test ideas, and play with shapes and colours.

It helps us be smarter with flower ordering, confident in our build, and fully aligned with your vision. You don’t have to imagine it. You get to see it.
