I’ve never painted. Soo I enjoyed watching some art the videos Laporte and learning from all the creative people. Soo pleased the taster weekend was extended as it gave me an opportunity to paint!Here’s my first attempt doing so. I’m also loving seeing everyone else’s painting who are posting at Kaleidoscope Taster Week x

On to the ‘next leg’. Having broken her leg over 12 weeks ago when visiting, mum’s traveled back to Sydney to begin rehab. Thank you to all who cared & supported her at both Orange & Molong hospitals & to the friends who have seen us through this journey thus far. Still a ways to go but thankfully she’s on the road to recovery. Flown home in style arriving safely for this next phase

A LONG lunch indeed! It's 3 months since mum had a fall & broke her femur at my annual Meet the Producers Lunch in April. Since then she's been treated with true 'country style' hospitality at Molong Hospital and 3 issues of that very magazine have now been read cover to cover. Arriving as the April issue went on sale she left with the July issue in hand, bound for Sydney where she'll now begin rehab. It's been a long road with some bumps in it and a ways to go but I have admired her resilience & determination throughout
