It’s a GIRL 💕

Introducing the newest member of the fam, our perfect little KOBI ELISE MADDEN, who graced us with her presence on Thursday ☀️

Her arrival caught us a little off guard so if you have sent an enquiry in the last week I’m not ignoring you, I just didn’t get a chance to flick the out of office on! I will endeavour to respond to any urgent things in the next few days once we are settled at home.

Meanwhile I’m soaking up the newborn snuggles and not in any hurry to emerge from this love bubble, so thank you in advance for your patience with me 🥰

I can’t believe it’s already been 6 months since this magical day. This was without a doubt a career highlight for me, being able to finally marry my sister to her soulmate ❤️

Now it’s impossible to narrow it down to just one favourite thing about their day, so here’s my top 5..
1. They got ready together, it was such a relaxed and fun morning
2. Their wedding was in the middle of winter, but it was all held inside which meant no stressing about the weather or temperature
3. It was a true family affair- Paige’s sister Rach helped me deliver the ceremony, the Dads each walked them down the aisle, Paige’s younger brothers held onto the rings plus announced the big kiss and they surprised their Mums with being their witnesses
4. Their vows were the best I’ve ever heard. They had the guests laughing and crying at the same time. (Paige’s started with ‘you’re the lime to my coronas’) Need I say more…
5. They did most of their portraits before the ceremony which meant they had more time to mingle and enjoy the amazing food and drinks.

There were so many laughs, so much dancing and it was honestly just the best (and worth the wait!)

Thanks for having me Ash and Paige, well I would have been really offended if you didn’t. 😝

Today is National Celebrants Day!

Being a celebrant brings me so much joy and fulfilment and I thank each and every person who has invited me into their lives and allowed me to be a part of such important days!

In my time as a celebrant I have met so many amazing, sparkly, inspiring people, especially my fellow celebrant friends who always have my back, as well as all the other amazing vendors in the industry that I have the pleasure of working with time and time again.

Here’s to many more years of doing what I love (and getting to call it a job!) 😜🥂

These two are just pure sunshine and their intimate wedding day reflected that perfectly! So many laughs, so many tears (mainly from Claire 😜) and so many cool little touches. My favourite things were- 1. Claire walked halfway down the aisle herself. 2. They had a witness raffle (the reactions were the best)
3. They had packets of chips for the bus ride home

Yesterdays wedding has been a long time coming and everything about it was just beautiful.

So many little touches I loved, like place cards to reserve seats for their VIPs, a combo of confetti and bubbles for their walk back down the aisle and a macaron tower for guests to enjoy with a champagne during canapés!

Tears were a plenty when Chloe walked down the aisle and their vows were a perfect mix of humour and heartfelt.

Married back in March at the beautiful with guests literally flying in from all over the world to make the day the awesome celebration that it was.

These two were such a fun couple, which was evident by how many laughs we had during the ceremony! We revisited the proposal featuring a Haribo Jelly ring and touched on their more stressful times (like trying to move to back to Australia in a hurry before the borders were locked shut!)

Married at the Wagga Botanic Gardens in late January 2023 with a huge wedding party consisting of 14 of their favourites, plus their 2 fur babies!

They did a first look and wedding party photos before the ceremony so we just got straight to it once all the guests arrived (=more time to party!)

I have such admiration for private property weddings because you just know how much work has gone into getting it ready in the lead up. The weather was perfect and most guests camped in the paddock, so the party vibes were high!

NOW OFFERING // This is something that I’ve been feeling a strong pull towards in the past months, so the time feels right to announce that I am now offering funeral and memorial celebrant services in Narrandera and Wagga. I’ll be working as an independent funeral celebrant and happy to work alongside all funeral directors in the area. It’s something no one wants to think or talk about, but I would be honoured to help guide families and loved ones through this terribly difficult time. Married on a (unexpectedly) rainy day in November 2022 at the beautiful ! After being flooded out of their original ceremony spot, the staff managed to still pull together an outdoor ceremony and we stayed dry (JUST!!)

There was so much I loved about this day, from Grace having her Nan’s as flower girls to the bridesmaids each having a different type of white flower as their bouquets. Not to mention confetti cannons for their first kiss!!! It was truly a beautiful day filled with beautiful people.

From teenage lovers to getting married at the beautiful Millwood Lane last October!

Their day was so fun and relaxed (despite being unexpectedly freezing cold!) My favourite thing was that they surprised their Mums with the honour of being their witnesses- many tears were shed! The girls also arrived in a Kombi which was such a vibe!!

I’m taking a little bit of unplanned time out. I have sadly lost a close friend and my dear Nanna in the space of a week, so I just need a little break for my poor head and heart to catch up, and to navigate a tough few days ahead 💔

My out of office is on and I’m more than ready to pop the Champagne.

This year will be our first Christmas without our beloved dog which is hard. 😢 But we have so much to be grateful for and I can’t wait to catch up with family and friends! Thinking of all those that aren’t so lucky 🤍

My favourite thing about their Ceremony was how they involved their families. From the asking of the parents, to the brides brother walking down the aisle first with their son.

For anyone that thinks getting married in Winter isn’t a good idea, I’m sure these photos will change your mind 🤩

These lovers were married in late June 2022 at the devine , and it was just the most magical day! They were surrounded by their nearest and dearest (and their dogs) and I just loved being a part of it all.

My favourite thing about their day (aside from the puppies) was that Ella drove herself to the ceremony in her pride and joy, her Landcruiser! What a legend!

I had the pleasure of marrying them in April at , which was the day after Alice won her AFL grand final I might add (thankfully without Injury!)

They are two of the most genuine and fun people you will ever meet, and their ceremony and personal vows definitely reflected that 🥹.

My favourite thing about their day was that they chucked two mates in the deep end and asked them to be ‘flower men’ which they took in their stride, skipping down the aisle spreading flower petals and plenty of laughs. It really set the tone for the day which was just the best!

After covid got in the way of their first October date, I was finally able to marry them on a rainy Friday in February, at the always spectacular Wild Vine.

They did a first look before the ceremony and then walked down the aisle, hand in hand together, after their bridal party.

My favourite thing about their Ceremony was instead of doing readings, they got Kates best friend and Sean’s brother to read out their love and engagement stories. Such a special way to include people. Oh and they also had a champagne tower after signing the documents, which is always a winner in my eyes 🥂

Married on a perfect February day at the devine All Saints Estate. There were soooo many elements of their day that I loved, but my favourite would have to be when we revisited their love story and had everyone laughing and crying (at Jonty’s expense) as I talked about the proposal. Their flowers were also next level amazing, and I kid you not, there were so many butterflies buzzing in and around the arbour during the ceremony. Absolutely magical. 🦋

What a way to finish off for 2021, on a rainy Sunday at the Wagga Boat Club. We started with a Naming Day Ceremony for precious Baby Miley, surrounded by all the special people in her life.

We then went on to surprise all the guests with a vow renewal ceremony for Shannon + Brenton, who eloped in Las Vegas back in 2019. They had been holding onto their vows since way back then, and it was so lovely that they finally got to share them with each other in front of all their loved ones.

A beautiful day for a beautiful family. Wishing you so much love for the future Shan, Brenton and Miley 💓

Two of the most beautiful and genuine people you will ever meet, finally married back in December at The Wild Vine .

We were initially worried about the heat, but when the day rolled around it was an overcast 20 something degrees!

There was so much I loved about their ceremony, starting with a traditional flower garland exchange. BUT the best part was a surprise visit from their fur babies who were carrying the rings. I was then lucky enough to have the dogs as company for my trip back into town. 🥰 🐕

Married back in November at the beautiful Banyandah on the Murray. There is so much I could say about this wonderful pair, their special day was full of so much love and laughter, it was absolutely infectious.

It was such a family affair with Nicole’s bride tribe made up of her Nieces and great nephews, while Graham had his sons standing by his side. They also included a hand fasting ceremony involving special friends and family members (but more on that later!)

My favourite thing about their day was that they both wanted an entrance, so Graham and the boys arrived by boat on the water while the girls arrived by car, and they met in the middle at the ceremony spot at the exact same time. 💕

Thanks so much for having me Nic and Graham, can we do it all again please?!?!

Sending all my love to my beautiful cousin and her fiancé Ben who are getting married (for real) in Brisbane today!

As part of my Celebrant course, I had to perform and film a fake wedding and these two gladly put their hands up to be my actors and play ‘Philip and Chloe’ for me. There were SO many laughs, and little did we know that Ben was planning to propose just weeks later 💍

This is their 4th wedding date (thanks Covid) and unfortunately I had 2 beautiful couples already locked in for this weekend so sadly can’t be there. I can assure you there will be a bottle of champagne drank while watching back the live stream tonight though!

I can’t put into words how special it is that I get to marry people for a living, but when they are people I know it is next level special.

These two cuties were married at the brand new Urana Waterfront Pavillon back in November 2021 (which by the way is absolutely spectacular) and were surrounded by their closest VIP’s. Unfortunately due to border closures and sickness Maddi was without most of her Bride Tribe, but she took it in her stride and was somehow SO CHILL!

Their ceremony was personal / honest / funny and their vows had me sobbing at the printer. My favourite thing about their day was their son, Taj, coming down the aisle first with his big cousins holding onto him while he pulled an ‘oh no’ face. Absolutely priceless and so him. 😂

Thanks for having me Maddi + Justyn, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you legends ❤️
