One day my husband bought be home a bunch of blue dyed singapore orchids, presented in a cute little box. I thought they were the most beautiful thing ever! (this was obviously before i was a florist lol) Little did i know how dangerous these little bunch of flowers were for our environment, economy and our health. 1000’s of air miles, sprayed with chemicals for quarantine, arranged into floral foam that leaches microplastics into our water ways, and pressure on our local growers and economy. The secret to longer lasting flowers starts at the moment you receive them. Make sure to give the stems a fresh cut before placing them in water. Re-cut the stems every few days when cleaning your vase and changing the water to maximise their water uptake. Trust us they’ll love you and you'll love them.

Yesterday we went to the Syndey Flower Markets! 🌷 Not to buy anything but to check out what’s in season and looking lush. It's always the best to see our favourite growers and flozzie friends in the floral community, like the Gorgeous Gem from @sub.subtle in this reel. We get asked all the time where we source our flowers from. 🌸 The majority come from the markets here in Sydney complemented by selections from other local growers like @littletinshedmedowie and @mtn.nurserywildflowers 🌿. How do we pick our posy ingredients?

We have a new feature on our ordering form! Yas! We’ve implemented this, as our most received piece of feedback is, that our customers are disappointed that they can’t order up until 11.30 for same day delivery, if we’ve sold out of our daily posy earlier that day. So when you order your posy you’ll now be asked to select one of two options. If you love the daily posy, you can select the first option, and we’ll make sure that you receive that posy. If you’re not too worried about the type of flowers you receive and you trust us to deliver a fresh, beautiful bouquet, then please select the second option.
