Did you know that wrapping sometimes takes just as long as the making. I love my bouquets to wrapped beautifully in quality paper, pretty ribbons and delivered with a water source for longevity. Its in the details ❤️

I love making beautiful hand tied bouquets especially when you have grown each and every stem.

My garden won’t be flushing again till the Spring…actually it’s a big overwhelming mess right now, so to keep the flowering going I have been buying in beautiful local natives and other seasonal blooms, the change is nice.

Being able to grow and design is essential to the success of a small scale flower farm. I am glad this is something I can do.

From the basic quick seller farm bunches to large scale weddings and events or creating beautiful heartfelt caskets for funerals, teaching, you name it, I can do it.

My garden has been a labour of love…it’s taken years to get to this level of abundance and it’s still a long way from where I would love it to be…but despite it being perfect and the many setbacks, I always keep going and for this I am rewarded.

Dahlia season is by far my favourite, these blooms are the most amazing flower to grow, the colours and varieties are so incredible it’s hard not to fall in love with them all.

Building a dream…it’s not easy and it takes years and years, the days are long and there is no rest in sight but as I sit down to beautiful healthy meals I have cooked all from the farm produce, l pick buckets of stunning organic blooms and tend to the pigs, chickens and veges I feel so happy, it’s all worth it.

I am not lucky, I have worked so hard for this and now I am truly living the most beautiful life. Never give up on the dream

We Deliver to - Waroona, Coolup, Pinjarra, Dwellingup and the towns between.

There has been a lot of RUMOURS that I am not doing flower orders anymore. Not true!

We deliver our custom orders however we do not deliver our small bunches or have them available for collection anymore, we now offer these through outlets. It’s just not viable to stop throughout the day and make one little posy here and there, however what does work is making 10, 20 or more in one hit and having them available at different busy locations for people to collect at their convenience.

So if you would love some beautiful organically grown blooms reach out for a custom order or I can advise you where you can purchase our small farm bunches ❤️

Our season has come to an end with just a handful of blooms left!

I was lucky enough to have join me at the garden to capture the dahlias in their prime a few weeks back. The images are so beautiful, thank you Fee ❤️

We are now getting ready to release our tuber sale so we can share the incredible flowers with you in your own gardens. It’s a big job that last year didn’t happen. The dividing takes weeks and a lot of hands which I just didn’t have. I was disappointed and I know lots of people missed out of them, but rest assure it’s priority for the coming 3 months and I will have plenty for everyone.

I will start sharing what we have and the names so you can create a wish list.

Beautiful timeless weddings are my thing!!

Lately I have been planning some pretty gorgeous weddings and it’s kind of surreal that my little dream has unfolded before me where my clients get their weddings designed using the most beautiful sustainable blooms grown here on the farm by me. It makes me so happy.

I have carefully chosen the flowers I want to grow, hard to get varieties, flowers that don’t travel well, colours that are on trend and just some of my favourites. So my clients are spoilt, yes and I love that.

I am not going to sugar coat it, it’s been a tough road and still is. There are days I wonder what on earth I am doing. My body aches, the hours get so long but it’s all I want to do so I push on.

A little update….

It’s Winter, it’s cold and wet, no flowers in the garden, but it’s still so beautiful! Yesterday I worked in the clouds, I couldn’t see ahead of me, the dogs and I were wet and muddy but it’s was just so magical and I wouldn’t choose to be doing anything else.

I have been busy lifting and dividing Dahlias, it’s a big job, with some only just ready to come out now, it will keep me busy all Winter. I will announce tubers sales next month.

Spring seedlings are in the ground and I am still planting those cold loving seeds to ensure we have ongoing flowers, lots of new varieties are coming which excites me and I know you will all love.

On the wedding side we have taken on so many beautiful garden style weddings, I am truly excited and grateful to be planning weddings using 100 percent from my garden, these weddings will be nothing short of divine. I haven’t taken on many weddings over the past few years while I focussed on the establishment of the garden, but next season will see me back in full swing.

Workshops are also being worked on. Our farm classes are truly unique and so beautiful and I just want them to get better and better. I have received a lot of enquiries for 1:1 workshops and also private group classes and I am working on pricing options that will go live next month. We just have 4 places left at our Spring workshop, Winter class sold out rather quickly, so click on the link in the profile if you wish to join me.

Daily orders are on hold until end of Winter when we have flowers back in the garden.

So all this along with time with my gorgeous girl, it’s busy but a whole lot slower which I needed.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about pricing. Often us Designers are told we charge too much, yet if you stepped into our world you would see in fact we charge too little. The work behind the scenes is far more than you would expect and the overheads can be excessive at times.

Since Covid has hit it’s been increasingly hard with product availability and massive price increases, many which have not been passed onto the client.

There is a fear amongst many of us that if we charge what we are worth we won’t get the job and the client will go to someone less and what will happen to our businesses.

For a little while I felt this way and lost my way as many of us do, but you know as I fill up my van and pay for my groceries not once has the shop owners said to me that they would give it to me at the old prices because they didn’t want me to go elsewhere or I was a good customer and they felt for me, so why should my I.

I feel for everyone, in fact I feel too much about everything all the time, but in what has been a very hard 12 months for so many reasons I realised that I matter too and I need to be paid what I am worth.

So can you still have a beautiful weddings flowers without breaking the bank? yes you can, however you need to set an ideal spend and let your designer tell you what that would get you, but know it will be a whole lot less than previously. Perhaps the suspended installation needs to go but not the stunning bouquet that will be featured in almost every photo. Perhaps you can have the install but not the abundant arbour, we will help you choose where best to allocate your budget for the greatest impact.

We all need to make changes to adapt but beautiful is always possible and so is quality ❤️

SPRING BRIDAL CLASS - Tuesday 18th October 2022

Yes it’s finally happening…it’s been a while since I hosted a bridal class, I am inspired and excited knowing how much you will love our little flower farm and the day I have planned.

Come wander my garden and see behind the scenes of a small scale flower grower. I guarantee you will leave wanting to grow some flowers in your own backyard..

Last time it was a wet day, this time the sun will be shining I just know and we will be out in the paddock creating the most dreamiest ceremony setup, to work with our bouquets. The Pinterest board is full.

So it’s come to that time of the year where I stop taking orders, the fridges turn off and we quiten a little.

Why? Our garden is seasonal and the season has come to an end. One day we hope to grow flowers all year but that’s for another year.

Can’t I buy flowers in? Yes I sure can, and I do at times, however in the colder months the demand is less and even more so in a small town and with the excessive prices we are seeing at present for flowers it’s just not viable to drive to Perth for a few small orders, it would leave me out of pocket with all the left overs. If there was consistent demand I would do so but it’s just not there yet!

We do however take on Weddings, funerals and events in this time where I can order in advance and it’s worthwhile for me.

So what happens now. I am working hard in the garden. Our dahlias are about to be lifted and divided, this is a huge job, but I like it. I am still planting more and more everyday while I can and planning ahead for future plantings in the Spring. I have to catch up on admin and importantly quoting and then working on our beautiful workshops that will be here before I know it. So it’s busy but a different kind of busy.

Thanks for all the love and support it’s been an incredible season and whilst I feel sad to be pulling out all the flowers as they slowly die back, I need a slower pace of life for a few months and time with my little girl, she has been so patient as I have worked some crazy hours this year.

I look forward to sharing my beautiful flowers with you again at the end of Winter as they start to bloom again x

Will there be more dates, absolutely. Can you just buy an open class for Mum, absolutely. Can anyone attend, yes no experience necessary for my classes. I will post more classes soon including some for my experienced florist friends who I know are dying to come down to the farm and pick some flowers direct and have a play, yes I will let you cut your own blooms from the patch ❤️

I am overwhelmed with the support for our workshops, I am a happy but tired girl right now, the dahlias are almost finished, lots of seed is in the ground and I am getting ready for Winter and a beautiful Spring ahead.

I have had so many people wanting to book future classes so here we go…

Register via the website for our newsletter to be advised of our upcoming classes. I will be releasing our next class within days then shortly after all the classes for the remainder of the year.

First one up is hot chocolate and brownies by the fire, probably red wine to finish because that’s just how we do things here and an abundance of beautiful late winter blooms.

It’s so beautiful at the farm in Winter, so lush and green, the pear trees will be in full blossom and my garden full of winter sweet pea, ranunculus, Iceland poppies and a whole heap of other amazing blooms, I cannot wait!
