This popular street food dish from Taiwan is called Coffin Bread!
Coffin bread consists of a thick, rectangular slice of bread that is hollowed out, deep-fried until crispy, and then filled with a variety of savoury ingredients. The dish gets its name from the coffin-like shape of the bread and it is particularly popular in Taiwan’s night markets.
The fillings can vary, but they often include a creamy stew-like mixture of meats, seafood, vegetables, and sometimes cheese or curry. After the bread is filled, the "lid" (a piece of the bread that was cut off) is placed back on top, making it resemble a small coffin!
