Yesterday marked 3 years since my first ever wedding as a celebrant.. what a ride it’s been.

I’ve learnt a LOT since this day.. and still learning more after each and every ceremony I’m fortunate enough to be a part of.

Did I make some mistakes this day 🙈 - YEP! Sorry Nae & BJ - love you both! But did I manage to keep all of the guests dry 🌧️ - YEP!

I only learnt this photo existed a few months ago.. we had to speed through the ceremony ultra fast to avoid a huge downpour.. screaming “RUN” to all the guests at the end instead of sticking around and cheering - this is that run! 😂🙌🏼🥰

Having known Scott since he was about 10 years old, I was absolutely honoured to be able to officiate his special day..

Then I met his better half Claire.. and I could not wait to be able to participate in such a gorgeous day!! The perfect pair 🥰

It’s true love, mixed with a lot of banter, and a few fun swear words! The way they look at each other, speak to each other and most importantly simply “be” with each other - It’s like something from a fairytale 😍

I first met these two at a mutual friend's wedding and they told me they were planning their own special day - in my head I was saying "Pick me! Pick me!" - and they did 😊

From the moment we began the planning process I was absolutely sold on their love story and all the emotions it entailed. The laughter, the tears, and the incredible stories of fake eyeballs in pockets! 👁

These two are individually beautiful people, both inside and out. But when they come together as a couple, they become an incredible powerhouse, a force of nature that draws people in with their magnetic charm and radiant love. 🥰

These two! 🥰 What a way to start the season 💣

We rode every single emotion during this ceremony 🎢 We laughed the deepest of belly laughs, cried the most blissful tears of joy, and felt an overwhelming sense of love and admiration, in fact, we even all sang a song!

I met these two beautiful men about 12 months prior, at a mutual friend's birthday. When they phoned me up to officiate their wedding, I was absolutely honoured! They are two of the most kind and welcoming individuals I have ever met, and I was so happy to embed myself into their lives (sorry boys, you have me forever now!)

This ceremony had everything! A perfect mixture of muscial theatre, Jewish & Christian traditions and LOVE!! Sooooooooo much love!! 🥰 Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness - and incorrect use of language 🤣

Jon reached out to me a few weeks ago to arrange a surprise vow renewal at his wife’s 50th birthday..

Thankfully Kelli said yes - again! And an absolutely, adorable, sweet simple vow exchange was had in front of all their nearest and dearest.

Jon originally proposed to Kelli back in 1999 whilst eating KFC 🙊 They have kept the original box for all these years, so what better place to house their vows for the evening 🥰

A month ago these two sweet hearts tied the knot. The day saw a lot of rain.. like A LOT OF RAIN! But nothing was going to dampen their big day! ⁣

When Henry arrived to the ceremony, he told me “the girls would be a minute, they have to hose Zarli off” - I won’t lie, I was concerned.. ⁣

But in she rolled with a smile a from ear to ear. She was there to marry the man of her dreams and no crazy weather was going to spoil their big day. ⁣

The love and admiration between these two was electric. You could not only feel it between the two of them, but amongst all of their family and friends who were their witness their marriage. It was definitely a party I was sad I couldn’t stay for. When there are jelly shots for all the guests after your vows, you know it’s a good one! ⁣
