As you may know Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool became a registered foundation in February 2020, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient from January 2021 & is now known as The Gillin Boys Foundation Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool INC.

This change has allowed us to spread awareness of Muscular Dystrophy further & raise much needed funds for research & clinical trials on a larger scale. All the money we raise goes directly to research & clinical trials to help find a cure so future generations don't have to suffer the same fate as previous generations.

The Gillin Boys Foundation Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool made a $40,000 donation to The Royal Children's Hospital, Neuromuscular Clinic in mid 2022, $50,000 donation to the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in December 2022, $100,000 to the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in May 2023 and in March 2024 donated another $100,000 to the Murdoch Children's Research Institute that will be used for Duchenne research thanks to merchandise sales, fundraising efforts, general donations and current sponsors.

We are currently going through a sponsorship drive looking for previous sponsors to recommit or new businesses to come on board as a foundation sponsor to support our Fight For A Cure.

We have 3 different levels to choose from. Each option below is a yearly sponsorship (sponsorship is for the period July 1 to June 30) or a one off sponsorship if you choose.

We understand that the current cost of living crisis has impacted many businesses, should you wish to sponsor the foundation but finding it difficult to commit to one of the levels of sponsorship, please contact us to discuss further options. If you require a tax invoice please contact us and we will arrange for one to be provided.
