Perks of being a country Wedding vendor… we are constantly working with all our favourite people and even though it’s work, we always squeeze in a huge amount of fun, in a tiny amount of time (I can hear Pippa saying, it’s not in the runsheet, Nicole!!) Well, Saturday’s wedding had Pippa and I fan girling over seeing Linda from @denisesflowerstudio “in real life” and “not in petal form”, as a guest at the wedding! While Wedding vendors “work together”, we don’t often see all that much of each other (Pippa and I being the exception), so seeing Linda was definitely a highlight!! By far, the BEST florist around! Flowers are always stunning, and their quality ALWAYS goes the distance on a wedding day!

With just shy of ten years in the Wedding industry, I really did think I’d seen it all… I hadn’t!! Prior to today, I had never seen two donkeys run from one end of the paddock, to the other, just to do the deed (loudly) in front of a full audience of wedding guests... Unsurprisingly, this was a first for Pippa too. I’m glad I experienced this with you, Pippa!!! 🤭🫏🤣

A very, VERY rare moment caught on video… Pippa and myself, sitting down, soaking up some sun with our new little friends!! 99.9% of weddings, the only time I sit (for the entire day) is in the car between locations or to inhale my dinner 💃 Pippa is exactly the same!! When sending my wedding contacts to my clients for signing, I can guarantee that the first (and usually only) question is: “what on earth is a fly fee”? Well… it’s when I give you a quote to edit out ten million friendly flies, one by one out of your wedding photos! I had my heart set on Pippa and I riding this bull together 🐂 I even asked our fabulous Bride and Groom if we could do it, and they gave us green light! NEVER, EVEERRR A DULL MOMENT WITH THIS LEGEND @pippamoore_ Not only is Pippa the BEST CELEBRANT I’ve ever seen in action (think, love stories told in a beautiful, funny, meaningful way, where she keeps guests engaged, laughing, crying, all the things, from start to finish!!!! Adding to Pippa’s A+++ celebrant/MC qualities, she is honestly the most kind, humble, caring soul in the whole world… #oneofakind My beautiful friend Pippa, kept me upright (sometimes literally) and soldering on last wedding season 🥹 If someone experienced 10% of what I was going through, I honestly don’t think many photographers would have been able to even show up to shoot a wedding. I can’t fathom anyone in this industry (let alone myself) that would have been able to experience 100% of what I did, show up to a wedding (one occasion was literally 2hrs after a traumatic event), completely disassociate from reality, and produce their best work yet. Let alone do this over and over again with 15 weddings in 3 months. #ResilentAF So thank you Pippa, thank you for being the funny, kind, gentle, compassionate, fabulous friend that you are! Knowing when I needed a cuddle, or a “you’ve got this” or a “don’t let him take your reputation too” and the regular “please eat something!!!” 🥹🥹🥹 I appreciate you never asking me how I was ON THE WEDDING DAY, always keeping the vibes high, and keeping me distracted and focused.
