Whitehaven is a unique Tudor style building situated on 12 acres, with landscaped English gardens, surroundings of scenic hills and panoramic mountain views. Located in the picturesque Plenty Valley Ranges, Whitehaven is only 40 km north of Melbourne and a 40-minute drive from the Melbourne International Airport. Whitehaven was built in 1986 by Carol and Ron Walsh, the present day proprietors, and

was designed especially for weddings. Their passion for good food, excellence in service and a very personal approach makes Whitehaven truly outstanding. Their eye for detail has made Whitehaven a luxurious venue and their constant quality control has accredited them with the maximum 4 star rating in Food Hygiene. The venue facilities are;
“Whitehaven Heliport”, Helicopter landing facilities (day & night)
On-site parking for over 200 cars
Landscaped English gardens with beautiful settings for the ideal garden wedding
Drive through undercover entrance, with easy access and no stairs

The romantic English gardens of the Whitehaven Estate capture the essence of countryside ambience for your special occasions and treasured, life-time memories. The poetic gardens feature classical statues, an antique fountain from Bath (UK), an elegant Gazebo bordered by tall manicured hedges of deep-green, a scenic lake are only some.
