We are back running our amazing workshops .collective

It does is wonders for your soul when you allow yourself to get ‘creative & make something with your hands’ 🤍

A bubbles and bloom evening. Where you design and create an arrangement from our high quality preserved flower bar. Be guided step by step to arranging in a ceramic vase/pot of your choice.

Small intimate groups with no more that 10 spots. An activity for all ages, come alone or as a group either way it’s always a fun, encouraging environment.

Hosted with Thirroul Collective located 273 Lawrence Hargrave Drive Thirroul, NSW. Home to many local family businesses.

90minute workshop, with bubbles upon arrival and a grazing board throughout. $85 per person

Take home your gorgeous creations and all the feels of knowing you made it, we also make a bonus seed card.

If we haven’t met I’m Debbie, owner of Florals With Open Arms

18 months on from of building this business from the ground up and boy am I beyond grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way. Every like, purchase, share, follow….nothing goes in noticed.

I love doing what I do, getting creative in the studio making and designing beautiful pieces is still heart warming. This year it’s all about focusing on quality & uniqueness. I also love having something for every price point because like everyone I know what it’s like to stay in a budget with these crazy times.

With two young boys in tow the juggle is real but like everyone we just keep going & embrace the journey. I love including my kids in the business even if it means the task takes 4 times as long… they love love love ‘helping mum’

I’ll continue to share my passion of the floral workshops with you all, something about creating an environment for others to get creative and hand make something is really rewarding & enjoyable for everyone involved. Stay tuned for workshop dates coming up or DM to book a private workshop.

Embrace

A word I resonate with all the time. In 2010 when backpacking through Europe with girlfriends, amongst our journey we constantly said “embrace”. The sightseeing, meeting new people, adventures, partying, hangovers, airport layovers, backpackers budget, missing people back home, whatever the situation we tried our best to ‘embrace’

Fast forward 14 years as a mum… I say it even more in relation to my boys & growing up.

A weekend filled with locally made goods, creative sparks within Variety of Workshops running over the weekend.

I’m bringing my ever so beautiful flower bar to you, be guided to design and create a preserved floral arrangement to take home.

We love everything the Illawarra has to offer ✨

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK // We're saying see ya to summer + hola to autumn this week because we blinked obvs....! Loads of cool things to see out the season in style starting with a Stranger Things trivia night tonight at Wests Illawarra, catch the last couple of performances of Merrigong Theatre Co's production of The Visitors tonight + tomorrow, get your sass and sequins on for the Drag Show + Dinner at City Diggers Wollongong Wednesday night.....wow! We're only halfway through the week.

Okay, kick off the weekend [Thursday is the new Friday] at the Jeff Buckley Tribute Show at Centro CBD Wollongong, hit The Fitz Cafe & Bar for bottomless bao buns + bevs [how YOU doin' - did you say it like Joey?], head to the Kiama Beach Tag tourney at Kendall's Beach on Saturday or head indoors for a floral workshop at The Thirroul Collective, then do your bit for the environment and our beautiful region on Sunday by helping out at one of the many Clean Up Australia Day events happening.
