On this day in 1970 Simon and Garfunkel released their final long player, Bridge Over Troubled Water.

It is probably best remembered for the anthemic title track, a brilliant masterclass of Simon's gospel-inspired songwriting paired with Garfunkel's almost other-wordly lead vocal, however the album also features a collection of some of their finest and most eclectic tracks including 'Cecilia', 'Keep the Customer Satisfied', 'The Only Living Boy in New York', 'The Boxer' and 'El Condor Pasa'. After all, I'd rather be a forest than a street (if I could).

"You guys absolutely killed it with the music throughout the whole event, our guests could not stop talking about how good it was! We wanted our wedding to be banger after banger, staying true to what we both loved and you definitely delivered. One person even said it was the best music they'd heard at all the weddings they'd been to - I call that winning!

We wished the night could have continued much longer than it did so we could have kept partying. We might just need to have another event! Thank you so much for your fun, energetic vibes, your love of music clearly shines through and we'll be recommending you to everyone!"
