ROOM FOR IMPROVMENT

Room for IMPROVment are a local comedy staple having performed countless shows & gigs over the past five years. As an improv troupe, all their comedy is made up on the spot based on audience suggestions, with their off the wall style & unique interactivity winning over audiences far & wide.

As a group, they have sold out the Wollongong Town Hall, made regular appearances as part of the Wollongong Comedy Festival & Sydney Fringe, performed for 24 hours straight for charity in the 24-Hour Improv Marathon & were the first act as part of the inaugural Australian Improv Festival.

Room for IMPROVment are excited to return to the UOW UniBar & help raise funds for some incredible charities. They hope you’ll join them for not only a laugh but a great cause.

Chris Knight is putting the Buoyant in Flamboyant, he is the biggest, hairiest, beariest thing to dent the comedy stage. Chris has brought his self-deprecating style and jaw dropping jokes to Sydney Fringe Festival, The NSW Raw Comedy Finals, Nimbin Mardi Grass and a small bar in Bali (making him an international performer).

Gavin Scott, hailing from Western Sydney, is the comedian who can turn life's little quirks and mishaps into moments of pure hilarity. Known for his sharp wit, and dark sense of humor, Gavin's quick humor and clever jabs have earned him the title of Australia's Roast Battle Champion in the past. Whether he's cracking jokes on stage or sharing funny stories off-stage.

Through early intervention, the aim is to create societal change by reducing the stigma around su***de & getting men to feel comfortable talking about what they are going through emotionally & mentally.
