GRANDPARENTS as your witnesses! 🙌🏼❤️
Many couples think they must have their Bestman or MOH as their witness - you don’t… they already have such a huge role in your wedding. The legal ruling on a witness in an Australian Marriage is a person over the age of 18.
I always say to have your GRANDPARENTS attend your wedding ceremony is such a blessing - we don’t get to have them in our lives forever but we can have them as your witnesses to your marriage, their signatures will be on your certificate of marriage forever ❤️

Smile and hold in the pain of a dog bite! That’s life as a wedding vendor!
Yep earlier that morning on my walk back from dropping my daughter to the bus stop - a dog got out of its yard and bit my thigh. 😳
2 big puncture wounds, a crazy amount of blood, bruising and pain but it was a Thursday morning - like Monday morning to most jobs. The start of my work for the weekend.
In the wedding industry- we don’t get days off or sick leave on the day of a wedding. It was my husband getting me Medical help, pain relief, the help of the other wedding vendors to help me carry my gear and all pitch in together to give the couple a perfect wedding.
Almost 3 months later and I’m still trying to build back the strength in my hamstring muscle that’s been damaged with Pilates and Physio

Just over 70 weddings conducted this year
And I don’t like to count the funeral numbers conducted but definitely not a number like the weddings.
Weddings you see families and friends come together for a happy, fun occasion - I see people on the happiest day of their lives.
Funerals you see families and friends help each other with grief - the hardest days of their lives.
This job really shows how precious life and love is ❤️
