It was such a beautiful day today at the fundraising luncheon. Thank you to and for once again including us. Also to the amazing friends, business owners and volunteers that joined me at our table. It was a pleasure sponsoring and bringing along our Rose backdrop and preparing all the little gifts each attended was gifted. Congratulations everyone on a great Sunday event 🤩.

is this year’s International Women’s Day theme and one we particularly love the message behind!

Equality is the goal and equity is the means to achieve it.

Equal opportunities aren’t enough to allow each individual the tools to achieve success as each individual has differing needs, challenges or abilities that can impact their path to success. This year’s message aims to spread awareness to all about the differences between equity and equality.

In wanting to understand it ourselves, it was a picture that simplified it best. We think it is fair to give everyone the same, this is after all what we consider equal opportunity but in reality as seen in the image, providing the exact same bicycle is suitable for only one of the four people. By understanding and adapting to each person’s needs all four of them can achieve their goal of riding the bicycle when given the correct tool to do that!

It’s time for us to take a break 😴.
Over the last few months we’ve been getting all the beautiful parcels ready for Christmas gifting and have finally sent out the last of our orders 🥳 .
We would like to take this time to wish each and every one of you the best Christmas and hope you have the opportunity to spend the holiday season with the special people in your lives. Let the approach of a new year bring you all hope for amazing possibilities and the freedom to once again make plans!
We also wish to thank the amazing amount of support our little family run business has received by our local Illawarra community, which allows us the chance to keep doing what we love; creating elegant and much loved gift boxes 🎁.
We will be returning back to work in late January, in the meantime stay safe and we look forward to sharing more with you in 2023! xx Liz.
