I wanted to celebrate Dane and Leah’s wedding day by capturing their celebration, of course, but there’s always room to get a little creative and experiment with moments—or even simple elements like colour. I wanted to expand on the vibrant reds and pinks they chose for their celebration while also playing with light to bring it all together.
It’s something I ask myself sometimes—how far can I push an edit beyond what’s traditionally considered a wedding film in 2025 while still keeping it authentic? Can it be a little more dramatic or stylised? I’ve only just started editing the hundreds of gigabytes of footage and barely scratched the surface, but it's fun to try and imagine a concept of what it could look and feel like.
I adore shooting with Kodak film; it just hits differently. It kind of reminds me of flipping through an old family photo album, like watching a warm memory unfold. The grain and vibrant colours feel so wholesome to me.

It's so damn special to see my couples watching their film for the first time. Seeing their emotions as they relive these moments that are now just a memory is a reminder of why I do what I do.
Thanks you legends 🙏
Great memories and good times at The Oaks Ranch
It's a wedding cake but with a twist!
It's kind of crazy to think that one day in the future this little guy will be able to watch this moment.
Congrats to Jake and Chloe.
I can’t believe it’s been a year already but I’m so very excited to share that I was named a finalist in the @lovestoriestv and @weddingfilmawards! It’s so very humbling to see my name listed next to the most inspiring wedding filmmakers from across the globe. I think back to the countless hours of editing and nights spent searching for music, listening to podcasts as I head to a wedding, the crazy laughs and good times spent with my couples and that goodbye hug at the end of the night. I guess I really just want to say a huge thank you to all my clients, family, and industry friends who have helped shape these films into what they are. #lstvwfa
On this day I was able to capture a particular moment that felt remarkable to me, a moment that made me feel much admiration, a moment that never comes around twice. I can't wait deliver this film and share a bit from these two kind souls.
The anticipation and nervous excitement with your forever person.🎥
I know the congratulations after the ceremony aren't always the most revered moment of a wedding day but for me its one I adore.
I'm excited to say I now offer Kodak motion picture film as part of my wedding film collections. Years ago when I studied cinematography this is something I had always wanted to offer, sure I'd taken loads of film photos but never shot a reel of motion picture film.
Over the last 12 months I've been immersed in heavily modifying a film camera, building a high resolution film scanner and learning so much about this insanely complex yet beautiful format.
