What's in a name?

10 years ago when I was establishing this business, I was desperately searching for the right name for it. I was unhappily working in corporate HR and very much feeling like a square peg in a round hole. Cue one morning driving to work, performing a sensational car concert to Pink's Raise Your Glass and the lyrics " if you are wrong in the all the right ways" spoke to my heart in ways they never had before. And I realised I had the name for my little biz and Raise Your Glass Ceremonies was born.

Last night I was lucky to see her again live for about the 7th time and as usual she did not disappoint! !nk

I love a love letter!!! Amelia and Ben were so relaxed through the whole wedding planning that I think had a tornado blown through Immerse Winery they would have just shrugged and continued on with their day.

We laughed, we cried, we teased Ben.... A LOT! And most of all we had a lot of fun! Here's what they had to say:

O....M....G..... How time flies!!! 9 years ago today and I was sh*tting bricks on my way to doing my first ever wedding for the super sweet and accomodating Adam and Amanda. Flash forward to now and some 275 odd weddings later and I can tell you that I have absolutely ironed out some of the kinks and learnt some tricks of the trade. But I still get nervous - every single time! I say that the day I stop being nervous is the day I hang up my celebrant boots as it means I don't care any more.... But as the experts say, I've also learnt to leverage those nerves into the infectious energy I bring to your day.

Crazy big dog lady starter kit... only about 165kg of fluffy goodness here.

My name is meg and I'm a big dog aholic! The giant monkey in the middle is Humphrey our 2 yo Saint Bernard who was meant to just be a foster dog but of course we fell in love and adopted him.

To his left is Alfie a 15 month old bernese mountain dog and to his right and his partner in crime is 4yo Millie. Millie and Alfie are just at chateau Marshall for a holiday while their families have a holiday.

Yes they eat a lot... yes I vacuum every day because they shed so much. Would I change it for anything? Hell no!

So if you are wondering how I feel about including your fur baby in your wedding, I think you know my answer!

Shhhhh so I'm 2 days late wishing these superstars a very happy 4th anniversary!!! and Ricky were my very first same s*x marriage after Australia finally got with the program and made it legal and let me tell I could not have been happier or more excited to marry them at a stunning friend's property on the water!

The day and night were just as gorgeous as these two and I'm sure they are having a wonderful day today xoxoxo

Where the bleeping heck has 7 years gone????? I'm sure Celia and Dave agree that it doesn't feel like 7 years years since this gorgeous day in the vineyards at . We laughed, we cried, I may have accidentally called Celia Liz at one point and so we laughed some more!!!!!!
