I read this analysis from political journalist Peter Hartcher today in and it’s spot on.
When I first started and I was explaining the concept of a women’s website to a man of Peter Dutton’ s age who was a marketer and who I was trying to persuade to advertise with us, he looked puzzled and said “Women? That’s an interesting niche! “

Dudes. When will you understand that women are not a niche. We do not just vote according to “women’s issues” (health and education) and we’re not just responsible for purchasing “women’s products” (nappies, tampons, lipstick).
We determine elections. We are responsible for around 85% of household spending - that means everything from cars to finance, telcos, insurance, all of it.
Underestimate us or ignore us at your peril.

For those of you who have visited my website .... afineromantz.com ... you will know that I had a successful Heart/Double Lung Transplant in 2004. I'm living & enjoying life to best of my ability & I have my Donor & their selfless loved ones to thank for this ultimate gift. Of course, having had a transplant, the drugs that keep me alive also suppress my immune system. In turn, I am much more susceptible to catching colds, flues, etc. than majority of able-bodied population.

I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19, having had a 3rd Dose in October last year. I'm lining up for a 2nd Booster this Wednesday, as per ATAGI & Transplant Australia advice.

My message is simple. I cannot put my health (& those closest to me) at risk by welcoming marrying couples into my home unless they have been fully vaccinated.

I ask for your understanding in this matter.🌞💕

I was overjoyed to marry a beautiful young couple on 16th October... under a timeless, ancient Moreton Bay fig tree at 'Somerset Sunset' farmstay (previously Kilcoy Farmstay) just outside the township. A highlight was the nervous but practised Bridegroom singing to his gorgeous Bride as she stood holding the arm of her Father, before walking down the aisle to be married. It was a very special moment, a very special day ... one I will remember for many years to come. Thanks Gabby & Tom for giving me the privilege of marrying you.🤗💖

What a roller-coaster year 2020 has been so far! We're half way through and there's still a lot of uncertainty about what lies ahead. But, restrictions are slowly easing and there is plenty of planning to be done for those of you who have had to place your weddings on hold. 2020 will be a thing of the past before too much longer .... most of us would say Thank Goodness .... 2021 is only seven months away! For those couples wishing to be married in the first half of 2021, it's probably a good idea to be looking at venue choices, wedding suppliers and celebrants. Physical distancing and strict hygiene measures will be with us for quite a while yet ..... but you can still make plans for your Dream Wedding! Let me know if I can help ....

Dear Couples who are planning your weddings in very near future, I just received this directive from Attorney-General's Department via another Celebrant:-

Good morning Lovely Celebrants
I have just got off the phone to the Marriage Celebrant Section at Attorney Generals Department and they have confirmed that as of Midnight tonight ANY wedding ceremony regardless of being indoor or outdoor will be a limit of 5 People.
Now to tell my couple for Saturday’s ceremony. 😞

Despite the not-so-sunny weather last Friday, our gorgeous Bride Racheal, her Bridegroom, Dean & every member of their Bridal Party, especially Cohan & Willow, lit up their wedding ceremony with smiles from ear to ear! It was such a joyous occasion, no spirits could be dampened. Thank-you so much to Dean & Racheal for allowing me to be a part of your very special day.
