Well thats a wrap for 2024 and as always the day was magic
We had joel and the sutherland crew, a lady from portland and her daughter from brisbane, poland and switzerland and northern beaches, a truly eclectic and lovely bunch of kates!
Thankyou as always to jimmi carr for music, stella with choreography, brigitte grant photography, kate and the team of volunteers from the woodford academy, (and i was very touched to plant our kate bush camellia, thanks to long serving volunteer gardener margaret, chris for welcome to country and every single one of you that came and danced❤️

ALL AGES AND ABILITIES WELCOME

So this year we have the pleasure once more of local musician Jimmi Carr as our resident dj/pa guy
The wonderful Brigitte Grant as photographer at large, who kindly donates her pics to blue mtns gazette
There will also be donation buckets again, all this money goes to the Woodford Academy, and i would like to say without them and their support this event would not exist, as well as giving us the grounds to dance on, they supply us with many local volunteers, insurance, toilets and a cafe, so please show your support to this awesome local, cultural landmark please.
Parking at rear in Woodford reserve, wheelchair access via driveway on gt western highway just west of building.
So get your red dress on and cant wait to see everyone

Such a beautiful day at Woodford Academy House for the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever!
Welcome to Country by Chris Tobin, followed by rehearsals and then the official dance attended by nearly 100 'katies' all dressed up in red for the event. Big thanks to all the volunteers from the Woodford Academy House to host the event. If you missed it, theres always next year! Its always lots of fun!

Firstly a massive thankyou to The Woodford Academy for their support of ” The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever Blue Mountains” their grounds to dance on, their ammenities and their coffeeshop. Without these things, and the work of their volunteers we wouldnt be able to run such a great event, so thankyou so much.
Lastly but no less important a big shout out to Jimmi Carr of jimmicarrmusic, that brought and ran the PA this year. Cheers mate it was much appreciated.
And thankyou to everybody that came and danced, or watched, it was a very happy day and look forward to dancing again next year

Forgot to mention we are asking for donations on the day for Woodford Academy as they are opening ip just for us, they are supplying toilets, power, insurance and CAFE and are truly awesome volunteers that support us wholeheartedly, so please if you can support them, but if you cant please do not worry, just dancing and having a ball is more important
