It’s been a long time since showing my face on instagram.. so for all out new followers… I thought I would introduce myself and a bit about my floristry career …I’m Fran … founder and Head florist of Lotus Floral Studio in Woolgoolga… I’ve had my gorgeous Flower shop and floristry business in The beautiful town of Woolgoolga now for 17 years!! Before my husband and I moved to the beautiful northern beaches of Coffs Harbour… I started my florist journey in Sydney in 2002… with a background in Retail and business Management and Visual Merchandising.. I decided to go back to learning something new.. “Floristry”… I did my research and decided Pearsons School of Floristry was the best and where I would learn my new craft… I gave up a very high paying management position and went back to school… once I enrolled …I needed to find myself a job in a florist and set about putting out my resume to some carefully chosen Boutique florists in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs… with my retail and business management background and my skills for visual merchandising and new enrolment at Pearson’s … New Owners at Summers Floral in woollahra decided to offer me a junior position as a florist 🙌🏻 … from this point on I was exposed to a divine style of floristry specialising in garden style florals and fragrant garden roses and I was also so lucky to be surrounded by some of the best florists in Sydney… who now have gone on to own their own incredibly successful florist businesses… and who taught me so much and help me become the florist I am now… and doing the type of floristry I adore .. Divine garden style florals 🙌🏻…forward on to today and my own business … so much has changed since my open day in 2007… the area has grown and so to has my business… I have worked incredibly hard to build a wonderful and loyal customer base who love the quality and style of floral design myself and my staff produce…it’s wonderful to be able to offer our customers the very best in quality in both seasonal fresh flowers and beautiful floral design.. ❤️
