**THONG THROWING COMPETITION - AUSTRALIA DAY AT THE RACES**

It's time to limber up your bowling arm and get ready to throw your pluggers (aka thongs) through the toilet seats (yes you read that right) for a chance to win a cute and cuddly plush Koala or Kangaroo soft toy.

Kids - head to The Pavilion Family Fun Zone this Sunday, 26 January between 11:30am and 2pm where we'll have a lot of fun throwing thongs together with:

- Lamington Eating Competition
- Arts and crafts zone featuring thong decorating and paint & plaster fun with Australian Animals
- Kids disco and karaoke
- Kids and parents fashion fun parades (great back to school prizes on offer!)
- A meet and greet with our friends from Feature Creatures and their reptiles

As well as face painting, jumping castles and pony rides!

Mums and dads - the kids will love the sausage sizzle and you'll love the chance to relax and watch the best of provincial racing in our parent chill out zone located in the air-conditioned Pavilion or to browse the markets filled with local artisan businesses.

Plenty of live music on the Village Green too!

There is so much to enjoy this Australia Day at the Wyong Races, you won't want to be anywhere else!

Gates open from 11:30am with free entry for children under 18 years.

A wonderful story around last night's 2YO Magic Millions Classic surrounding Tommy Berry & his late twin brother Nathan 👇

O'Ole claimed victory in the $3m race for Bjorn Baker Racing over Memo, from the Snowden Racing stable👌

It was testament to the strength of the Wyong MM 2YO, with O'Ole our winner & Memo the runner-up. Congrats again to the connections 👏👏

News: O'Ole Completes Magic Double in 2YO Classic

A decade after his late brother Nathan won the The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic on Unencumbered, brilliant jockey Tommy Berry claimed an emotion-charged win in the coveted $3 million race aboard O’Ole at the Gold Coast on Friday night.

Riding for the same trainer, jumping from the same barrier and giving his horse an eerily run were all hallmarks of one of racing’s great fairtytales, when O’Ole burst to the lead and raced away form her rivals in the final 200m of the race. Click below to read more:
