Rocky Trail Entertainment was founded by two passionate cyclists and mountain bikers in 2008 and is now hosting more than 40 cross-country endurance and superflow enduro gravity events a year. With the launch of the Rocky Trail Academy junior development schools and skills events in 2019, our flagship events include the JetBlack 24 Hour race in Sydney, the AMB 100 Marathon in Canberra and The Will

o Marathon as well as the Fox Superflow gravity and SHIMANO MTB Grand Prix cross-country endurance series across NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT. We want to encourage people to discover how much fun it is to race a mountain bike and to meet fellow riders - RACE the way you RIDE with us!

Sorry for the bad news Albury. Huge thanks to our Events Delivery Team who worked very very hard to get this event to proceed. However, the Albury Fox Superflow® will unfortunately not be going ahead in 2024.

Major logistical challenges, including unforeseen and now ongoing construction on the main access road and around the trailhead carpark, have significantly impacted the event’s planning and promotion.

While the team has made every effort to navigate these obstacles, the lack of clarity regarding permits and alternate access options has made it difficult to confidently proceed with the event. We have learned, however, a lot about the trail network and venue and will continue liaising with the local club to get an event into the 2025 Rocky Trail calendar.

Registered riders have been sent an email with credit, refund and transfer options - Mogo Mania Superflow® Stage Race (26+27 Oct), Orange (9+10 Nov) and final VIC Round Silvan coming up (16-17 Nov).

The MTB Direct Spirit Award winner this time came all the way from NT!!

What a legend! Nicholas Bitar came all the way from Alice Springs to race his first Fox Superflow® with us in Canberra! Accompanied by his best childhood mate, who is a regular at our VIC events, Nicholas embarked on a road trip from Melbourne, spreading positivity and excitement throughout the event center and on the course. His unwavering enthusiasm and dedication to the sport, running downhill and enduro gravity events back in his home town, were truly inspiring, making him a deserving recipient of the MTB Direct Spirit Award.

Effervelo Brindabella Ranges Canberra ACT, 13 Oct 2024

46km, 65km and 101km courses, just 10 mins from Stromlo - its a 'Gravel' event for both MTB and Gravel bikes!

Last year we test rode a stack of gravel roads. We knew the 'champagne' roads we wanted, but we wanted to connect them in an interesting and challenging way!

We think this is a course as epic on a MTB as a gravel bike (we still don't know who would have the best advantage).

(Inca) is a fun and flowy but does contain a few corners that will test the skills of riders.

Stans
(World Cup) has some small doubles and a fun rocky section with a hidden landing for the brave (excellent B Lines for the conservative).

Lazer
(Roweys) is again fast and flowy with a good combination of fun jumps that can all be rolled.

MTB DIRECT
(Phil’s) is the most technical track, starts next to FOX (aka INCA) and includes 2 technical loose and steep corners that will test the best. Expect this track to blow out so be ready to change line choice across the day. Track finishes on a jumps section at the bottom so “whip it” up.

You can Choose Your Own Challenge with the options to ride Single, Double, Triple Laps or the 100-Miler with 5 Laps.

This is a lap-based circuit race. The 2024 circuit is 27km and the distance challenges are:

EPIC Triple: 3 laps for the full marathon challenge
ADVENTURE Double: 2 laps – the most popular distance
CHALLENGE Single: 1 lap for a relatively quick but still hard race
The 100 MILER: 5 laps which has a small but very dedicated following of hard racers

The traditional start is a mass gun start for the first three classifications and there is usually a short addition to the race circuit, an extra bit of firetrail, to avoid congestion on the first lap. Start for the 100miler is very early to give you that rewarding morning lap and let’s you finish with the crowd. After each lap the times will be recorded at the event centre; the fastest rider in each category wins. Male and female age categories offered include Junior, Elite, Master and SuperMaster.

A vision is taking shape ⛰️ We're not just developing trails, we're crafting an epic mountain biking destination! 🚴‍♂️ From flowy fun to heart-pounding descents, the Mogo Trails are coming to life. The Mogo Trails are dropping the tape to the first stage of trails this weekend and this network development and crafting is still ongoing.

Temporary signage is installed and the "live" trail details and locations can be accessed digitally through the Trailforks app from this weekend.

The staged opening and 'dropping of the tape' means that the first 70-80km trails are ready to ride and, in fact, need wheels on the ground. This is an opportunity for the local and visiting mountain biking community to start exploring those. Riders will literally help us shape the network in this next phase until the full and official opening in early 2025, so we invite mountain bikers to join us on this journey.

Stay tuned for epic rides, stunning scenery, and unforgettable adventures.

The Willo, 2024. The new era of 'XC''. This year, the goal was to make all the distances fun and challenging and remind people great trails are the recipe even when pedaling. Epic video by @_lane__williams_ A huge credit has to be given to the new sections of Superbowl built by @keystonetrails.au). With many riders on trail bikes, 120mm XC or highly specced XC race machines, we took away the fire road sections and took advantage of the amazing flow in Superbowl. If you haven't ridden it yet, its worth it. Easily the most common feedback so far was how fun those sections were. We are going to continue this again in the Stromlo round, multiple distances but all of them as fun as they are challenging. The UC Stromlo loop will be a 27km giant loop, showcasing 75% of the trails in Stromlo used or partially used. Single track is broken up by 11 sections of forest trail to pass then jump into another epic trail. Highlights include: "Evolution", Sunset Boulevard, Missing Link, Double Dissolution, Skyline, Luge and a whole lot more of the UC Stromlo classics. Two major climbs: the gentler front face to City View (5km at an average of 5%) and the more punishing “Casuarina Climb” on the northern side (2km at an average of over 10%). Its still going to test you, but we've broken up the elevation to ensure more fun! Registration Open! It is time to merge the BMX world with the MTB world with 1 day of racing dedicated to Pump & Flow! Grab you bike any size and head to the perfect pumptrack racing venue in the middle of town. Due to popular demand we are splitting the competition into two sessions (Junior and Senior) of action packed excitement. This will allow for more riders more fun, the action starts at midday! The Sugar Bag pumptrack has been perfectly designed to provide equal head to head racing. With the landscaped spectator seating area and newly installed pump track lighting we will be in for a treat. Grab you buddy and register now to secure your spot on the Pump & Flow! HOW DOES IT WORK? Racers can clock in multiple race times throughout the day and the fastest group of racers in male and female classifications for juniors and seniors will progress through the final Pump & Flow Shootout Heat. There will be 4 heats to determine the outright Male and Female winners. Race participants across a wide range of age groups can clock in multiple race times and the fastest group of racers in male and female classifications will progress through the final Shootout Heat. Our Story

Rocky Trail was founded by two passionate cyclists and mountain bikers in 2008 - we have been riding and racing in Australia ourselves for more than 10 year and are now hosting more than 20 cross-country endurance, downhill and enduro gravity events a year. Our flagship events include the JetBlack 24 Hour race in Sydney, the AMB 100 Marathon in Canberra as well as the Downhill State Series and our SHIMANO MTB Grand Prix cross-country endurance series across NSW and ACT. Rocky Trail has been running the popular Fox Superflow series of enduro-style events, sealed by Stan’s, since 2012.
