So what identification documents do you need when getting married in Australia?

You will need to provide evidence of your date and place of birth, this can be with a birth certificate or passport. You need to also prove your identity and a driver's licence or passport can be used.

You will also need proof that a previous marriage has ended if you have been married before.

Your Celebrant will support you to ensure everything is in order before your wedding ceremony takes place.
