The Conformateur, is a French Designed and patented tool used to measure the head size and shape of a person’s head, so that a custom-made hat can be built to fit the head by a hat maker.
Come along and see an antique conformateur and formillion at the Murrumbateman Village Markets this Saturday, 9 March, 9-1.

A dancing master with a great international reputation and 25-years teaching experience is now living in Yass and keen to start Sunday-afternoon historical dance class in the 'little ballroom' of his lovely home. All ages welcome, no partner or experience necessary and 500 years of fun from Renaissance, Baroque, Jane Austen, Victorian and later eras to be enjoyed!
If we get 8 participants he can start a 10-week course on Sunday 25 February 2:45-5:15pm, so please do quickly spread the word.
