I don’t know where to start with Lucy & Dan’s incredible wedding.
The day started at Lucy’s parents beautiful place in Deniliquin , in the middle we had the oncoming storm hold off just long enough to have the ceremony outside and then we had Lucy and Dan and their guests dancing out in the rain during canapés and ended the night ankle deep in mud for what was a wild dance floor.
Lucy and Dan’s wedding was simply incredible, and it is not one I will forget in a hurry!

Weddings don’t always run to plan and in my experience it’s in those times when you go with the flow, that some real magic can happen.

We had just finished the ceremony and we had planned to go down to the beach with the wedding party but because of circumstances out of anyone’s control that didn’t happen.
It was super bright, and without a cloud in the sky. I turned to Madie & Mark and said do you guys want to go join the party now and we can take some extra time at sunset to do all your portraits.
Madie and Mark, had full faith in me and agreed straight away.

As we drove up to the spot we had chosen just before sunset, I was double guessing myself, as the clouds had come in thick and the sun was no where to be seen.
We got out of the car, walked up to the lookout at the top of the hill and the clouds parted and I instantly knew we had made the right decision.

Your wedding day might not go to plan, there are so many factors out of anyone’s control but my advice is be like Madie and Mark and roll with it, because in all honesty, things tend to have a way of working out for the better.

A lot of you might not know, but Janelle and I a few years ago decided to move out to the country and try our hand at running a hobby farm, after looking long and hard we finally decided to settle in an awesome little town called Yea, so when one of the boys from the local butcher called me and said he was marrying one of the girls from the supermarket and that they were having a backyard and then having the reception at one of the pubs in town, I have to admit I was pretty excited.
Rhett & Amanda did their wedding their way, and we all had a blast.

When I got the email about Rory and Ola wedding I couldn’t of been more excited, these legends got married on a random rooftop in the city and then had a picnic in the park with a few of their favourite people.

These guys couldn’t of had a day that was any more them if they tried, and honestly I wish more people would get married this way 😍😍

A few days before the wedding Elle and I were chatting and she mentioned that her and John don’t really like being in front of the camera, I reassured her that her wedding day would be one of the easiest days to get photographed.

I explained you combine all the emotions of the day, the build up to the wedding, the fact that all your favourite people are there to celebrate your relationship, you then add a few drinks and some good music and it all falls into place.

I present you exhibit A - Elle and John absolutely smashing their sunset portraits during golden hour!

Above all we put our couples first, at Sean & Nikki’s wedding, the ceremony finished and it was stinking hot and there was not a cloud in the sky, so together we decided that it was better to push the portraits back, when everyone would be more comfortable, and I’m so glad we did.

A wedding day pretty much never runs to schedule for one reason or another, but that’s why you hire vendors who are team players and together we will make your day run as smooth as possible.

Big shout out to the team at , who worked with us, accomodating the changes and even drove us around. Absolute legends!!

I absolutely love how these beach photos from Leah and Brandan’s wedding turned out.
There was a storm rolling in and I looked out the window during speeches and saw there was a break in the weather coming. So we rushed down and captured these shots just in time before the storm hit and the sand was flying everywhere 😂😂

When we first booked in a meeting with Sean and Nikki back in 2019, we instantly feel in love with them, they are honest to God salt of the earth type people and we left the meeting saying how we could not wait to shoot their wedding.
Turns out because of Covid we did have to wait, and a very long wait at that.
But 42 months after that initial meeting we finally got to celebrate with Sean and Nikki, at the gorgeous and it was so so so worth the wait!

When you are thinking about a location to get married, there are a few ways you can go about it, you can find a place that is just absolutely beautiful, you can find a place that has great sentimental value, or you can find a place that matches the vibe you want for your wedding.

Or if your really lucky like Ainslie and David you can tick all three boxes with one location!

Like seriously, Dunkeld is such a special place, and is just absolutely stunning backdrop for your I Do’s

Wow what a busy week it has been, we are still without internet on the farm, so I type this lying in one of our paddocks watching our new Calf Juniper.
We shot 4 weddings this week, and have 4 more to shoot this year.

Here are some shots from Leah and Brandon’s fabulous wedding at the we really had all 4 seasons on Saturday, and it made for some spectacular backdrops for Leah & Brandans wedding photos.

These two got ready in the same house, did a first look in the backyard and then spent the rest of the day side by side with their absolute favourite people. 15 years on and I still feel so blessed that this is my job.

We are back in the swing of wedding season and loving it! On Saturday after postponing for a year we finally got to capture Jasmine and Aidan wedding and what a wedding it was!

When Natasha and Aaron got married during Covid in November the forecast read well but it ended up being heavy rain, lightning and thunder.
They then decided to throw a big party last Saturday with all their loved ones who couldn’t be at the elopement, being mid August it was forecast for rain, but we watched the dark clouds roll in, we could hear the thunder but it never rained, the light was gorgeous, they got to married outside like they had planned and then partied the night away!

After a long wait Thomas and Eliza finally got married yesterday! They met in youth group when they were 15, feel in love and the rest was a waiting game! It was so great watching these two legends get hitched!

When I first spoke to Rielly and Mandi, the way they spoke about their wedding made me so excited to be part of it, and I can promise you these two legends nailed it! The dumped any tradition they didn’t like, kept everything they did and they really made it their day.

I absolutely adore these type of situational portraits, I think they make the most beautiful pictures to print for your walls, especially for people who don’t want to necessarily look at a close up picture of themselves every day.

Have you have ever wondered should my partner and I get ready together? I can honestly say this is one of the only regrets from my own wedding 8 years ago, I didn’t see Janelle until 4pm, which was just to long in my opinion for such an important day.
Here are a series of photos from Tash & Ryan’s gorgeous wedding, from the moment we got their till the moment we left these guys were by each other’s side.

My biggest advice, as these legends did, is make the day about you, do whatever you want to do. The days of following traditions you don’t believe in are over.

Hey Legends, we thought it was about time to show our faces around here again!
We have been a bit quiet, for the last few months, as this has been our craziest year ever! We have shot around 40 weddings so far and have 7 more weddings over the next 2 weeks to shoot before we slow down for winter.
We just want to let all our amazing couples know we are working our butts off, editing every day we are not shooting, to get all your photos and videos out to you as quick as possible, due to Covid and all the postponed weddings, we have a lot of weddings to edit, but we are doing our best and we thank you for your patience 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Yesterday we finally got to shoot one of our longest bookings, Maddie & Daniel enquired with us back at the very start of 2019 and after a few date changes due to Covid we finally got to party with these two legends and I can confirm it was worth the wait!

As a wedding photographer I hear the phrase, we don’t look good in photos a lot, and I always ask one question back, have you had a professional take your photos, 9/10 times the answer is no.
I had this same convo with the amazing Grace and Chris yesterday, and to be completely honest I think I proved them wrong! 🔥🔥
