Monika Milas was nominated in the Art Production of the Year category in the region for the Nagrada Ambasador 2022, and the highlight of the year is our Blue floor at Dissonance, which we worked on together with Low End and THm.uRN.

We look at this as recognition and small success of everyone who participated in the production while we were suffocating in dust and mosquitoes all weekend.

Along with Monika, we would like to mention Vla'a, who gave life to Monika's work with projections and visuals.

We congratulate Monika and we are very glad that the originality is still recognized.

Sometimes it is difficult to convert momentum into words, especially if the subject of observation is in constant inertia conditioned by the environment in which he is, at least at that moment. Over time, through these four years, in my opinion, Princip has become a collective energy that lives in the fragments of every person who has shared at least part of the journey with him. From the very beginning and its creation, Princip has constantly brought comfort to restless souls who were looking for peace, happiness, and the serenity of the moment. On the other hand, he brought embarrassment to the malicious, obnoxious, inconsiderate, and he gave the evaporated eyes the opportunity to see beauty even if they ignored it. I'm proud of that. I am proud that regardless of all the attempts to extinguish it, it still remains to breathe in suffocating environments.

Legal bodies say that we are an informal organization, some say a collective, others say that Princip itself is another club night. I think, however, that it is a movement that moves steadily and quietly between the pillars of rational thinking with loud irrational music. The multitude of differences that make him up actually further strengthens him as a non-physical being.

Quartus was a collection of fragments of that energy, like every previous birthday, a tradition that I will cherish as long as I can. This time the fragments were met in Zagreb, one of the places of manifestation of this passion that I share with everyone. Together with Mostar's Pitchblack and heads whose story and energy are close to Princip's, we immortalized a moment that cannot be taken away. I continue the story with the souls that will be found in the caravan that are looking for their happiness, where, how and in what way I will find out in time.

Many thanks to Nihad Tule, Danijel Miljko, Jakov Palac, Teo Harouda, Vlaja, Stu, Enora Paola, Monika Milas, Patrik Bartoš, Josip Drdić, Dario Viduka, Ivan Matana, Marin Suić, Domagoj Josić, Alen Merdan, Ivor Bulaja Cevi, Adnan Nane Calkic, Marko Kobali, the staff at the DEPO klub, upstairs Medika, at the crematorium for their help in realization of ideas and presence. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, danced and laughed with us.

I hope that those heads who made fools of themselves at the after had a good time and that they understood at least a little why we do what we do.

We like to rest after each of our parties, especially after birthdays that are more than filled with program and content. We held the past editions in a multi-day game, Quartus was no exception in any case. From Friday afternoon and relaxed coffee with Nihad, then a hot night at Depo and an extended end at the after party on Saturday.

It is a sweet feeling for the fourth year in a row to gather family from all over at the end of September. We dare to say that it is becoming a small tradition.
Although we changed the location of the action to Zagreb for this year, we did not experience the trauma as we only know in Bosnia when we hide in the mountains and hills. One big relief that enabled us to produce events at a higher level than usual.

This post will be a small refresher and a reminder of Depo and the night in the form of photos by Enora Paola. We will write a more extensive story soon. 💜
