From 10/31-11/11, Canstruction returns to ! 🍄 In collaboration with , & , the beloved annual design competition challenges teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to build sculptures made entirely out of unopened cans of food. 🥫

This year, you can donate cans of food for those in need at the Information Table in the Winter Garden. 🍯 Visit our link in bio for more information and for all the ways to get engaged like a live build, tours, and fun activities for youngsters.

CANSTRUCTION 2024! The beloved annual design competition, Canstruction, returns to Brookfield Place from October 31st to November 11th. This year, we’re giving you more ways to engage with and learn more about the competition, including a live build, tours, and fun activities for youngsters. You can also donate cans of food at the Information Table in the Winter Garden.

This yearly event challenges teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to build sculptures made entirely out of unopened cans of food. The large-scale sculptures are displayed in an exhibition open to the public and later donated to City Harvest to help feed those in need.

Until November 11th, visit artist Robin Kang's new exhibition, “Galactic Garden,” presented in the Winter Garden Gallery.

Celebrating the fusion of organic wisdom from ancient civilizations and electronic futurism, the artwork was inspired by the artist's travels to the Amazon rainforest, where she studied indigenous textile techniques and medicinal plant technologies. "Galactic Garden” merges the traditional craft of weaving with modern computational methods. This integration envisions a harmonious coexistence between technological advancements and ecology.

Registration is now open for "Calm Among the Palms: A Sound Bath Guided by Robin Kang" happening on September 5th from 11:30AM-1:35PM. In celebration of the new palm trees in the Winter Garden, Brookfield Place will present a site-specific, restorative sound bath experience.
​
Led by shamanic sound healing artist, Robin Kang in collaboration with Adrian DiMatteo (the Sonic Institute) and Diego Bravo, this therapeutic and rejuvenating experience will combine multi-instrumental sacred sound, breath, and energy work among the palm trees, providing participants with stress relief, healing, and a moment of respite during the busy workday. Each session is 20 minutes.

RSVP is required and spots are limited. Walk-ins may be accommodated, capacity permitting.
