𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 on 16 December 2021. The program started with hoisting of national flag with national anthem at the bank’s corporate office at Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.

Heroic freedom fighters Mr. Saad Zaglul Abbas, Mr. Md. Shohrab and Mr. Sheikh Md. Abdur Rashid graced the program as honorable guests. Mr. Rumee A Hossain, Chairman of Board Executive Committee of the Bank, Ms. Tania Nusrat Zaman, Director, Mr. Md. Arfan Ali, President & Managing Director were also present at the program. Mr. Ashraful Haq Chowdhury, Director, joined the program through online.

One-minute silence was observed in honor of martyrs of liberation war in the program. Honorable freedom fighters shared their memories of independence. Patriotic songs, recitation of poems and dance were performed by Bank Asia Cultural Team. Deputy Managing Directors, Heads of Department along with other officials were present at the program.

“শুদ্ধতাই আপনার মুনাফা” এই স্লোগান নিয়ে ২০০৮ সালের ২৪ ডিসেম্বর ব্যাংক এশিয়া প্রবর্তন করে ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং সেবা। আজ এ সেবা প্রবর্তনের ১৩ বছর পূর্ণ হলো।

প্রথম থেকেই ব্যাংক এশিয়ার ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং এদেশের ইসলামপ্রিয় গ্রাহকদের প্রতি শরীয়াহর সর্বোচ্চ অনুশীলন নিশ্চিত করাকে সর্বাধিক গুরুত্ব দিয়ে আমানত সংগ্রহ ও বিনিয়োগ প্রদানসহ সব ধরনের ব্যাংকিং কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। ভিসা ডেবিট কার্ড, এসএমএস এলার্ট, ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিং ও মোবাইল অ্যাপ ব্যবহারের মতো আধুনিক সকল সেবাও ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং গ্রাহকদের জন্য চালু করা হয়েছে৷

শরীয়াহ্‌ পরিপালনে শুদ্ধতার অঙ্গীকার নিয়ে প্রবর্তিত ব্যাংক এশিয়ার ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং সেবায় গ্রাহকদের জন্য রয়েছেঃ

◾ শরীয়াহ্‌ মোতাবেক আমানত সেবা ও বিনিয়োগ সুবিধা
◾ অর্জিত আয়ের ভিত্তিতে জমাকৃত অর্থের উপর মুনাফা
◾ পৃথক ইসলামিক সফটওয়্যার নির্ভর হিসাব ব্যবস্থা
সম্পূর্ণ পৃথক হিসাবরক্ষণ, বিনিয়োগ ও তহবিল ব্যবস্থাপনা
◾ অন্যান্য সব ধরনের ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং সেবা
◾ সারাদেশে অনলাইন চার্জ ফ্রি

ডিপোজিটরদের সাথে মুনাফা ভাগাভাগির লক্ষ্যে অত্যন্ত সহজবোধ্য ‘ইনকাম শেয়ারিং রেশিও’ বা ‘আইএসআর’ পদ্ধতি বাংলাদেশে সর্বপ্রথম প্রবর্তনের মাধ্যমে ব্যাংক এশিয়া ইতিহাসে এক বিশেষ স্থান দখল করে নিয়েছে।

৫টি ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং উইন্ডো ছাড়াও অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে ব্যাংকের সকল শাখা ও এসএমই সেন্টার ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং সেবার আওতায় এসেছে। এর পাশাপাশি এজেন্ট ব্যাংকিং ব্যবস্থার অধীনে প্রবর্তিত ইসলামিক এজেন্ট ব্যাংকিং সেবা আজ সারা দেশব্যাপী সম্প্রসারিত হয়েছে।

আজকের এ শুভক্ষণে আমরা বিশেষভাবে কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করছি ব্যাংক এশিয়ার মাননীয় চেয়ারম্যান, সম্মানিত ইসি চেয়ারম্যান, পরিচালনা পর্ষ দের সদস্যবৃন্দ, শরীয়াহ্ সুপারভাইজরি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান ও সদস্যবৃন্দ, ব্যাংকের সম্মানিত প্রেসিডেন্ট ও ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক, ডিএমডিবৃন্দ, শাখা ব্যবস্থাপকবৃন্দ এবং সর্বস্তরের নির্বাহী-কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারিগণের প্রতি, যাদের আন্তরিক সহযোগিতা ও অকৃত্রিম ভালোবাসা আমাদের পথচলাকে করেছে মসৃণ।

আর সবচাইতে বেশি ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাতে চাই ব্যাংক এশিয়া ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিং সেবা গ্রহণ করা অগণিত গ্রাহকদের। আপনাদের আস্থা, ভালোবাসা ও বিশ্বাস আমাদের সামনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার সবচেয়ে বড় শক্তি।

পরিশেষে মহান আল্লাহ্ রাব্বুল আলামীনের দরবারে ব্যাংক এশিয়ার ইসলামিক ব্যাংকিংকে কবুল করে নেওয়ার দোয়া চাইছি।

Bank Asia organized a day-long “𝗕𝗔𝗠𝗟𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮” through digital platform on January 15, 2022.

Mr. Kazi Aktarul Islam, Executive Director, BFIU was the Chief Guest, Mr. Raaj Kumar Khetan, Regional KYC Policy Head, Citibank N.A., Singapore and Mr. Md. Rokon-Uz-Zaman, Joint Director, BFIU, were the Special Guests of the conference.

Mr. Md. Arfan Ali, President & Managing Director of the bank presided over the program. Mr. Mohammad Ziaul Hasan Molla, Mr. Shafiuzzaman and Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, were also present at the program. Departmental Heads, Branch Heads, Islamic Windows Heads and other officials totaling around 2,000 employees of the Bank attended the conference.

The government recently awarded the Commercially Important Person (CIP) cards to 176 businessmen for their outstanding contribution to export and trade.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad, FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin, Senior secretary to the commerce ministry Tapan Kanti Ghosh along with other distinguished guests presented the accolade through a programme at the Sonargaon hotel in Dhaka jointly organised by the commerce ministry and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
