শরণ ও প্রেয়তির গল্পটা অন্য সবার থেকে একটু আলাদা, শরণ প্রেয়তিকে প্রথম দেখেছিল প্রাইমারী স্কুলে চতুর্থ বা পঞ্চম শ্রেণিতে পড়া অবস্থায়। তখন প্রেয়তি খেয়াল না করলেও শরণের কাছে মেয়েটিকে বেশ কিউট লেগেছিল।
ভাগ্যের নিদর্শনে তাদের আবারও দেখা হয় প্রেয়তি যখন কলেজে একাদশ শ্রেণিতে পড়ে এবং দ্বিতীয় বার দেখা হওয়ার পরে শরণের প্রেয়তিকে অন্য রকম ভাললাগে। অনেক সাহস নিয়ে সে জানায় তার মনের কথা। চলে এক পাক্ষিক যুদ্ধ! অবশেষে জয়ী হয় শরণ।

বর্ষণ ও মুমতারিনের গল্পের শুরুটা ৭ বছর আগে বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের। কখনো রবীন্দ্রনাথ-জীবনানন্দ, কখনো ইতিহাস, আবার কখনো রাজনীতি সমরনীতি এই ভাবেই চলতো দুইজনের গল্পে গল্পে হাঁটাহাঁটি, বাকৃবি ১২০০ একরের মায়ায় কখন যে দুজন দুজনকে আপন ভাবা শুরু করল তা কেউই বুঝে উটতে পারে নাই। লম্বা কিন্তু অদ্ভুত রকম সুন্দর অপেক্ষার পরে তাদের শুভ পরিনয়।

কাশফি ও তুষার এর পূর্ণতার সাত বছর ।

আজ সেই একই রকম বৃষ্টির দিন ঠিক যেমনটা ছিল, যখন প্রথমবার তোমাকে দেখেছিলাম। আশায় বুক বেঁধেছিলাম তোমায় নিয়ে। এই বর্ষা-শরৎ এর মাঝে কতো ঝড় ঝাপটায় তুমি আজ আমার! আজও এই বৃষ্টি দেখে মনে হচ্ছে সেই প্রথমবারের মতন তোমার প্রেমে পড়েছি, এই বৃষ্টি যেন আমাদের প্রতিজ্ঞা, আমাদের আজীবন পাশে থাকার প্রতিজ্ঞা ।
