Essential Requirements:
• Minimum SSC degree with 1-year degree from an accredited institute in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management. Relevant short course/degree will get priority.
• Five or more years of experience working in a hotel, restaurant or kitchen. Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food preparation techniques.
• Able to work flexible hours and days.
• Knowledge of current and updated culinary trends.
• Ability to lead and mentor a large team of culinary professionals.
• Able to do menu planning and food costing
• Be friendly, customer centric, smile and able to work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups & sauces, preparing entrees, vegetable preparation and a la carte cooking.
• Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.

আমি ইউসেপ বাংলাদেশ-এর রংপুর অঞ্চলের একজন শিক্ষার্থী। আমি এ প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে কন্যা শিশু দিবস, নারী দিবস, জেন্ডারভিত্তিক সহিংসতা প্রতিরোধ দিবস ও পক্ষসহ নানান কর্মসূচিতে অংশগ্রহণ করেছি। এসময় নারীর প্রতি সহিংসতা প্রতিরোধ, নারী সুরক্ষা বিষয়ে অনেক ধারণা প্রদান করা হয়েছে। নারী অধিকার বিষয়ে অনেক কিছু জেনেছি, যা আমরা আগে জানতাম না। কিন্তু এতো কিছুর পরও কি নারীর প্রতি সহিংসতা কমেছে? আমি নিজেও তো এর শিকার।

একদিনের ঘটনা, আমি এই ইউসেপ স্কুলে আসার জন্য অটোতে উঠেছি। আমার পাশে বসেছেন একজন বৃদ্ধ লোক। বয়সে আমার দাদুর বয়সী হবেন। বয়স ৫০/৫৫ বছর হবে। আমি সরল বিশ্বাসে একটু দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে বসি। কিছুক্ষণ পর দেখি, ভদ্রলোক ধীরে ধীরে আমার কাছে এসে একেবারে গা ঘেষে বসছেন। তারপর খেয়াল করি, গাড়ির ঝাঁকুনিতে যতটুকু নড়া-চড়া করার কথা তার চেয়েও বেশি ঝাঁকুনি দিয়ে তিনি আমার গায়ের উপর এসে পড়ছেন। এক পর্যায়ে আমি বাধ্য হয়ে তাঁকে সরে বসতে বলি। একটু পরে দেখি, আবার তিনি আমাকে আগের মতো চাপ দিচ্ছেন। তার কিছুক্ষণ পর হঠাৎ অনুভব করি, আমার হাঁটুর একটু উপরে উড়ুতে লোকটার হাত। এটা দেখে আমি প্রায় জ্ঞান শুণ্য হয়ে যায়্। কি করব ভেবে পারছি না। আমার দাদুর বয়সী একজন বৃদ্ধ মানুষ আমার সঙ্গে এ কি আচরণ করছে! আমি অটো থেকে নেমে যাই। তারপর আরেকটা অটোতে উঠে স্কুলে আসি। স্কুলে মন খারাপ করে বসে আছি দেখে একজন স্যার আমার মন খারাপের কারণ জানতে চাইলে অনিচ্ছা সত্বে ঘটনাটি বলি। সব শুনে স্যার বললেন, "আমাদের সমাজে এমন ঘটনা অহরহ ঘটছে। কিন্তু তুমি অটো থেকে নেমে ঠিক করনি। বরং সবাইকে ঘটনাটি জানিয়ে ঐ বৃদ্ধলোকটিকে নামিয়ে দেওয়া উচিত ছিল।"

স্যারের কথা শুনে তখন আমার মনে হয়েছে, ঠিকই ঐ মুহূর্তে আমি ভীত-সন্ত্রস্থ না হয়ে নিজেকে একটু শক্ত করে কাজটি করলে ঐ বৃদ্ধলোকটি হয়ত আর কোনোদিন এমনটি করত না এবং অন্যরাও সাবধান হতো। আমার মনে হয়, মেয়েদের আরও শক্ত হতে হবে। যাতায়াত তো আর বন্ধ করতে পারব না। তাই এমন ঘটনা ঘটলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে প্রতিবাদ করতে হবে। আমি মনে করি, আমাদের সুরক্ষা আমাদেরই নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। তাহলেই নারীর প্রতি সহিংসতা প্রতিরোধ হবে।
