With the consistent increase in the costs of raw materials we are forced to raise our prices in 2025.
It can get quite tough emotionally.

Everything that is good for us and nature is increasing in price, it’s hard to argue.
What we won’t do is work with lesser quality or join the evil circle of unsustainable production.

We want to continue to work fairly towards the farmers & our staff, and at the same time provide something that is manageable for our clients too.

THE GOOD NEWS is that the pies now weigh a little more too. ☺️

Our wonderful friends & colleagues are celebrating their 5th birthday! Wow! What a milestone.

We are so proud of what & achieved in the past years. Not only a shop, but a movement.

Few pie orders came in last minute to be picked up this Thursday at , so just wanted to share in case you were wondering to order too.

We’ll have a big baking day tomorrow, so if you want to grab any amount you can email us with your order until 9am tomorrow.

Pickup is between opening hours of the market (A very bossy market) 18h-23h.

Our pepper steak & mushroom pie beautifully captured by thank you!

Lots of work goes into making this pie - shortcrust pastry bottom, pâte brisée top, long and slow braising beef with plenty of aromatics.

Here is the menu that we’ll be cooking up on Mother’s Day (Sunday May 12).

While most of Flanders might be celebrating Mother’s Day in August, we thought of the ones wanting to treat the mums to a little New Zealand brunch vibes. And let’s be honest, Lier needs a little international flair. Any expats coming?

This event is ideal for families and friends who just want to spend a lazy day together with an overload of hearty food and drinks, lots of nice European small scale natural wines and friendly service.

We highly recommend taking a stroll around Lier as well. The little canal ways and architecture are truly jaw-dropping (we used to live there!).

Room #4 has created a space for chefs and food artisans to express their creativity and passion resulting in memorable dining experiences.

They asked us to join their culinary journey and we were instantly happy with the vision.
