It’s Summer stock sale time!

Today till Saturday, our racks are filled with treasures at soft prices. Vintage and new objects, vases, cards and books.

There are flowers a-plenty too, bouquets in lovely warm shades or mono bunches of dahlia, gladiolus and zinnia. Roll back into the work / school year with a bunch of bright colours.

We’re having our second Summer Stock Sale this week!

Come and hunt for treasures at soft prices. There’ll be a merry selection of vintage ceramics and glass, last season’s stationery, candles in previous colours, last copies of books and magazines, final pieces of objects we’ve loved selling, and so on.

In store only! Thursday and Friday from 12:00–18:30, Saturday from 10:00–17:00. Of course there’ll be a rainbow of flowers to match.

On popular demand, we’re launching a final reprint of this colourful oldie.

The ‘Flower Field Poster’ was one of the first posters we had printed, even before we opened our shop. The photo was made during a walk, at a communal garden, in 2018. It takes you straight to a place filled with merry colours and the buzzing of bees. An instant boost!

On our wall: the latest pair of Wilder Affiches, released at our fifth birthday on July 10.

Collages have formed a recognisable part of our visual world from the start. We’ve made them for postcards and gift vouchers. We had been looking forward to blowing up some originals - often not bigger than half a postcard - to a poster size and are very happy with the result.

We went for not one, but two images combining checks and florals in different ways. They’re complementary, yet harmonious - a bit like the bond that keeps us two going, perhaps? They both have a small ‘since 2019’ imprint, and come in a limited edition of 25 per design.

Some colourful mid-July wedding bouquets we’d like to share before we make some August ones.

From a weekend when one of our farmers was greatly affected by a storm and there was not so much colour to get. Yet with a bit of creativity, a round of hand-picking and good planning we managed to make these ones pop!

Nature makes sure our bridal bouquets are always a bit of a surprise but we love that aspect and are very thankful every time for your trust in our creative process and support of our sustainable vision ♡

These have been delighting us for a couple of weeks now with their amazing colour palette and cute little heads. .hortense managed to grow these pansies till a perfectly usable length.

The tender stems require careful handling, but once they’ve found their spot, their strength blows our socks off. We’ve had one standing on a kenzan in our window for nearly four weeks… Just luck, or an all-round winner?

Anyhow, there can never be enough pansies. You know we love them - aside from our pansy poster, we also made a pansy postcard for our new collection!

Marijke, sweet colleague of mine, walking off to an exciting adventure.

Don’t worry, she will be back - after having spent some time on the rollercoaster of life. Can’t wait to meet the little person in there ♡

Meanwhile, I will tend our beloved Wilder garden with a little help here and there. Looking forward to the Summer ahead and all the flowers it will bring us!

We’ll be open as usual, except for a little family holiday between July 15 – July 28 (more on that later). Questions of all sorts are welcome as always via [email protected] , I will send you a timely answer.

We’ve been selling kenzan flower frogs for a few years now, using them everyday around our store and in our homes to make delightful little flower arrangements. The only thing missing was a great go-to vessel to pair them with, so we decided to ask Sigrid from .club to make us one.

The kenzan dish she made for us is slightly heightened - as your flower pieces deserve a pedestal - and has the perfect depth to keep your kenzan under water at all times. It is crafted from Sigrid’s favourite straciatella clay and has one of our favourite glazes on the inside, a soft buttery yellow.

This week we were inspired by a little pansy gift from one of our farmers, which we paired with ranunculus, columbine and geum. Of course assisted by our favourite flower snips and always with vintage inspiration at hand.
