A wedding cake doesn't have to be white!
One of my most favourite cakes to make this year. I am so grateful to the lovely couple to have faith in my vision. With just a few simple guidelines, I was able to paint on a buttercream canvas and add a few fondant daisies.
The wedding was held in a beautiful arboretum, so the cake matched perfectly.

Back in the kitchen today, the first bake of the day, carrot cake, now I have all the ingredients!
It was Charlie's birthday today, and every year, he puts in a special request for his birthday treat! On his 22nd year, it's DOUGHNUTS!!!!! I have never made them before, I usually stay well clear of anything requiring a yeast sachetπ
But they turned out pretty OK! Of course, no cake of Charlie's is complete without a Splonky Bear!
