🏰 Grand Hotel Casselbergh – A Living Chapter of Bruges’ Past
Grand Hotel Casselbergh Brugge unites three historic buildings: House Casselbergh, The Seven Towers and ’t Fransche Schild — each with a story to tell. ✨
The Seven Towers was named after the original seven towers that once crowned the building, and dates back to the 13th century. It was home to Juan Lopez Gallo, representative of the Spanish King Philip II.
House Casselbergh gained royal fame as the residence of King Charles II of England during his exile (1656–1659), together with his brothers — all members of Bruges’ noble archery guilds. 👑🏹
