Guest teacher at the end of season 23/24,
Gaetano Vestris Terrana.

Italian-born Gaetano Vestris Terrana is a dance maker and certified pedagogue. He is part of the Feldenkrais Teacher Training in Brussels with educational director Alan Questel. For more than a decade, he has danced as a soloist in various companies in Germany and Switzerland, working with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, Mauro Bigonzetti amongst others. He's also choreographed for theatre companies and the independent dance scene. Gaetano was trained in Basel in the Vaganova method by Rafael Avnikjian, until he met Mogens Boesen, Linda Hindberg, and Nikolaj Hübbe from the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen who taught him the Bournonville style and the Stanley Williams’ legacy. Later on in New York, he became one of the proteges of W***y Burmann, whose approach to ballet completely changed his way of dancing.

We are very excited to welcome him to our last day of season!

Very special day for Brussels City Ballet and the history of Ballet in Belgium.

Former principal of Royal Ballet Wallonie, Tokyo Ballet Ms. Kishibe visited us from Japan! She danced all main roles i the company and delivered unforgettable performances to Belgium. Her daughter Kimiho, granddaughter and family from Charleroi and our guest teacher Fabrice Gibert, and new generation of Ballet dancers ,we all met today in our home at Maison Bejart

What a beautiful day, and thanks to this special day ❤️
