The theme given by Radio Tempo Não Pára was the North Sea and it inspired me enormously given the long relationship I have with it - like many Belgians I think.

It is the story of my musical journey as seen from the coastlines of De Panne and thus an indirect tribute to Belgian indie, from bands I used to listen to on my mp3 in the dunes to the labels I do now. It also draws inspiration from Spillaert's aesthetic, vague à l'âme, tides.

I LOVED doing it and I do hope you'll have a good time listening to it too. Had a LOT of fun with the tracklist too, edit-twisting some of the tracks and binding meaningful relationships 𓆡 ⭒ㅤ𓈒

Having reached a series of 20 shows that form a coherent whole and that I'm very happy with, I thought it was time to draw a line under it and think about something else. Plus I like round numbers.
To bring this residency to a close in the nicest possible way, I invited my friend Rupert Clervaux to join me. This is all very symbolic since he and James from Laura Lies In are the ones who introduced me to this radio station which will remain one of my favourites of all.
I met Rupert 8 years ago by chance on the Internet. What better theme for this set then than the Internet and chance, innit. We are serving you an hodgepodge set made up of lots of deconstructed shared references and even a few original compositions made by the two of us.

Thanks to him for having been one of the artistic pillars of my life and for all he did to nurture my creative development. The process of creating this set has brightened up these last few weeks.

Thanks to Mika for trusting me at the very beginning by giving me this platform, and thanks to all the other Mélina, Raph, Elvira, Laura... for their time. It was a pleasure to come to the Atlas brewery every two months for almost 3 years.
